Definition Of Story

Narrative, story, or fairy tale is a record of a series of

related events or experiences, both non-fiction (memoirs,
biographies, news reports, documentaries, travel logs,
etc.) and fiction (fables, myths, legends, thrillers, novels,
etc.).
Narratives can be presented through written or spoken
word sequences, still or moving images, or a combination
of them all. The term originates from the Latin verb
"narrare" (to tell), derived from the adjective "gnarus"
(knowing or skilled).

Type of Characters

The role of a character refers to the part played by

someone in a story. As you may know, the most crucial
role in any story is the protagonist (which we will discuss
below). This means all other roles stem from their
relationship with the protagonist. Essentially, these types
define how characters interact and influence each other. Protagonist

Role of Characters

A role (also known as a social role) is a set of behaviors,

rights, obligations, beliefs, and norms interconnected as
conceptualized by individuals in a social situation. It is
expected or freely chosen behavior that can be static or
evolving and may have an individual's social status or a
specific social position. Understanding roles is crucial in
the functionalist and interactionist perspectives of
society.

Gender of Characters

Gender refers to the socially constructed characteristics

of being female, male, girls, and boys. This encompasses
norms, behaviors, and roles associated with being a
woman, man, girl, or boy, as well as their relationships
with each other. As a social construct, gender varies from
society to society and can change over time.
