The quote, “ Smile like you mean it, Smile your way through it.” summarizes my school

year because this year of school was horrible but it went by really quickly. The work loads were

horrible and some of my friends cut me off for a little because I didn’t really fit in with them too

well. In the end they ended up letting me hang out with them more and now we’re all good. Most

of this year I was by myself. Something I learned that helped me was to always smile because it

encourages your friends or the people around you, keeps the people that don’t like you guessing,

and It keeps you in control. Part of me wishes I worked really hard because the reason my

friends separated from me was because I wasn't as smart as them, but they ended up revealing

that there is more to school than academics.

This school year my relationship with God increased. At the 10th grade retreat when the

elevator stopped working one of my friends was in the elevator and I was worried for them. That

and I to pray for them and worship. Luckily for them they got out, but that was scary. Something

that I would like to increase in my relationship with God is my relationship with the church

because it isn’t as strong as I want it to be.

become an apprentice electrician. I met this man while I was fixing something. I had been

attempting to fix the breaker at school because the breaker broke multiple times. He helped me

and taught me some cool stuff. That was back in September, and now I help my dad with “Home

Projects.” I feel a scene of maturity growing from all this.

Junior year is an important year, and I want to make the most of it by getting serious for

training for cross country and track. My hope for junior year is to get new PR’s for cross country

and become 4th or 5th on the team. I will change how I did training in the past and make it more

vigorous. My sleep schedule has been really good and I will keep it. On average I get 8-10 hours

of sleep. I plan on sticking to only running sports.
