Description: The NASA History Oiffice is a small team within the Office of Policy and Plans at
NASA Headquarters. They maintain archival materials, to answer research questions from NASA
Personnel, etc. Outside parties often come to this office to do research on-site. They also edit and
publish several books and monographs each year. In addition they post and maintain a large number of
World Wide Web sites on NASA history and NASA policy and plans.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Interns should be available to work 20 hours per week. They are
flexible in setting up special projects for interns but these may include updating monograph or
book-length publications, doing research on historical space launches, and editing or proofreading
various NASA history publications. Work on the web would be another possibility.
