SPORTS TRAINING OF POLOMOLOK SELECTED ATHLETES FOR 2024 SOUTH

COTABATO PROVINCIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION MEET

1. In reference to Republic Act No. 10588, titled "Palarong Pambansa Act of

2013" and United Nations doctrine of using Sports and Physical Education, Health
Development and Peace among People, and Values Formation among the Youth
and OM CID No. 152, s. 2023 Conduct of the South Cotabato Provincial Athletic
Meet Association (SCPAA) Meet 2024, this office in coordination with the
Elementary and Secondary School Heads both public and private schools in the
Municipality of Polomolok announces the conduct of Sports Training of Polomolok
Selected Athletes at Polomolok Central Elementary School, Brgy. Poblacion,
Polomolok, South Cotabato on March 8-12, 2024.

2. This activity aims to:

a. train the athletes in preparation on the conduct of South Cotabato

Provincial Athletic Meet Association 2024 ;

b. capacitate and enhance participants' knowledge, values, and attitude

in the science and art of sports in all events;

c. expose learners to leisure activities that will contribute to an active

lifestyle and enhance physical fitness; and

d. provide an opportunity to practice and internalize the skills, attitude,

and knowledge that were acquired in the delivery of Physical education
competencies.

3. Moreover, athletes, coaches, tournament managers and trainers are advised

to ensure and complied the prescribed requirements to participate in the said
sports training.

4. For services rendered on weekends, all teachers, school heads, and

personnel concerned are entitled to Compensatory Time Off (CTO) or Service

4. For services rendered on weekends, all teachers, school heads, and
personnel concerned are entitled to Compensatory Time Off (CTO) or Service
Credits by Civil Service and DBM Joint Circular No. 2, s. 2004 on Non-Monetary
Remuneration for Overtime Service Rendered or DO 53, s. 2003 on Updated
Guidelines on Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers.

5. Moreover, it is recommended that the schools must utilize strategies such as

to prorate learners to various sections, assign alternate teachers, or employ
modular modality for the affected classes of the participating teachers. School
Administrators are responsible to ensure the execution of these measures and
provide technical support to make sure that classes are not disrupted.
6. Food, travel, and other incidental expenses incurred during the activity shall
be charged against school MOOE, LGU, and other local funds subject to the usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
