MY HOME, MY SCHOOL

Hello everyone, good afternoon. Before I start my presentation

allow me to introduce myself first. I am DJ Verzosa, I am eighteen (18)
years old, and I am taking Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
So before we talked about my home, let me share to you what
home means to me. Home is a place where we stay with our families and
live safely. Home, for me, is the place where I can feel the connections
and find my roots, a place where I was born and grown up. Therefore, it
always brings upon great memories.
My home is located in Brgy. Turac, San Carlos City, Pangasinan, it
is not small but not that big. It consists of five rooms: a living room
where we accept visitors, a kitchen, a bathroom, a dining room, and a
bedroom. And it only has 2 bedrooms. The atmosphere around my home
is quiet and fresh, it gives me comfort and peace. I lived with my
grandmother and my sister. Since my mother’s workplace is far, only my
grandma is taking care of me and my sister.
My home has witnessed my first steps as well happiness and
sadness. Even though my home is not perfect, I can still find serenity, a
sense of belongingness, feeling of comfort and relaxation. But most
importantly it makes me feel safe and secured.
My school is my second home where I spend most of my time,
where it gives me a platform to do better in life and also builds my
personality. I will show to all of you the school where I studied from
high school. (insert vid)
This school is located at Turac, San Carlos City, Pangasinan. The
name of my school is Turac National High School.
Our school is also competitive and can negotiate from other public
schools. Many achievements are gain that makes the name of school
become popular to others and they called it as “Turac Sikat”. Although
our school is not perfect, I can say that this school has a lot of memories
to me, including my teachers and all of my friends that I called as my
second family, and to the places that gives me a lot of memories.
