TOPIC: Women remain targets of sexual violence

everywhere. Then there is the Pay Gap-the median wage
for a woman working full time is lower for a man. And
the gap has held for years.

There is no dress code for rape or sexual harassment. Instead of teaching our women on
how to properly dress, we should teach men not to rape, respect every women bodies. Girls and
women do not report sexual crimes precisely because of the tendency to victim blaming. Let’s
retire this thinking – Sen. Risa Hontiveros.
The world is getting crueler by the day, where women face harsh violence and the justice
for them has become too silent. In the world we live in, women and children are far too
frequently victims of abuse, exploitation, and abuses of their human rights and dignity. However,
we won't tolerate such injustice by remaining silent. We speak up against abuse and violence
against women together. Our goal is to create a society where everyone, regardless of gender,
may live in safety, equality, respect, and inclusion. We will not stop fighting toward this goal.
Joined by common principles of fairness and human rights, we become more forceful in
denouncing violence against women and children. The shift starts with each of us advocating for
safe places for women and other marginalized groups, and it won't be complete until everyone
has access to the fundamental right to dignity.
More than 300 million women and children are assaulted and violated, according to
statistics. Several of them have been victims of kidnapping, child labor, child abuse, human
trafficking, and, in the most well-known example, rape. Despite the gravity of these instances,
the government is not moving the legal system and procedure forward. One thing is certain:
those who have endured injustices will remain mute and the proper justice will not be served to
them if the government does not intervene or take any initiative. Speak out now or forever hold
your peace, as Taylor Swift once remarked. You are the voice of your own, and this is the proper
moment to advocate for your rights. Speak out if something makes you uncomfortable or if you
think someone is harassing you. You are your own leader; take a stance. The unequal pay and
benefits that are still unresolved for our female employees are another problem. The issue of the
unequal compensation for women is addressed by the pay gap and median salary.
Mary Wollstonecraft was an English author and well-known advocate for women's rights. As an
advocate for women's rights, Wollstonecraft wrote A Vindication of the Rights of Woman, a
feminist classic published in 1792 that is regarded as the first and most significant work
supporting women's equality. Mary gained notoriety for her work advocating for women's rights
and closing gender gaps. She is among the most well-known ladies who has battled for our
female workers' just compensation and earnings. As a result, discrimination against Filipino
women workers is still pervasive, current, and important. In what way will we combat this? By
just contacting lawmakers to request laws and legislation that will support our women's right to a
safe, secure, and equitable workplace. The government needs to make our ladies better. The
government ought to advance gender equality, women's empowerment, and the fight against
violence against women and children.

One of the important things that is still going on today is the battle for our women. We
might conclude that the goals of equal salaries and anti-violence have not yet fully materialized.
However, we'll succeed. As citizens with moral duty and integrity, the only thing left to do is to
fight for women's rights, promote nonviolence, and enhance women's empowerment. Finally, we
need to have the heart to help others and act morally. even when nobody is observing us. To our
women. “Hindi ka babae lang, babae ka at malakas ka, may Karapatan kang marespeto at
igalang. Babae ka, hindi babae lang”.
