PROJECT TITLE: HOLISTIC TRANSFORMATION SKILLS TRAINING FOR 20 AT RISK

YOUTHS (BAKERY & PASTRY, CULINARY AND ORGANIC FARMING)


PROJECT STATUS: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES AND LIFE
TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMS (SOCIAL SKILLS, LIFE
MANAGEMENT SKILLS, EMOTIONAL SKILLS, SPORTS & SPIRITUAL)
PROJECT PERIOD: MAY – JULY 2023

 Morning Session Daily Routine (My Duty & My Assembly) – A residential campus becomes an enabling
environment that allows students to become independent. In a constantly changing environment, self-
management skills are an important part of life due to the background of MySkills students who tend to
lack exposure to positive role models or personal habits.

 Yoga – These exercises focus on breathing, strength and flexibility. Practicing Yoga can provide many
physical and psychological health benefits. This daily exercise is very important in order to get blood
flowing and increase thinking capacity in youth who are less academically-inclined.
 Agriculture (Green Hour) – Green Hour is an important part of enabling change in the mindset and
character through being close to nature, developing focus and concentration as well as commitment to a
routine while varying types of tasks. This is a type of natural therapy to channel student energy in
productive ways.

 Weekly Football Training – Students are motivated and take the initiative to practice almost every week,
and their commitment to practice for friendly matches.

 First Aid and Leadership Training Course – The objective of this program was to provide exposure and
knowledge of first aid essential methods and strategic thinking for leadership purposes.
 Emotional Management Exercise (EME) – Enables students to manage their own emotional state (stress)
effectively through the strengthening of emotional management methods and subconscious thinking as peer
groups and individuals.

 Daily Gratitude Journaling Program – This program are designed for our youth beneficiaries to develop self-
empowerment and working towards better standards of personal development, tracking their
transformation progress and develop a sense of gratitude.

 Weekly Chess Training – Trains student concentration, increases memory capacity, patience and
perseverance in order to increase IQ levels. The students take the initiative to practice every single week.
They also make preparations to participate in selected tournaments held on- and off-campus.
 Neuro Brain Yoga – These exercises focus on coordination, balance, and flexibility. This specific form of Yoga is
developed to build better mind-body coordination and improve higher thinking processes. This daily exercise is
very important to increase higher thinking capacity and discipline within our students.

 ‘Igniting Minds’ Program – The purpose of this program is to motivate and empower students to become
citizens who benefit the country. This 3-hour session is to strengthen the use of English, in addition to
empowering students to become skilled people that contribute positively to society. Among the activities
carried out are group work, presentations, transformation sessions, confidence building activities, as well as
how students can face obstacles and challenges in life, for better transition from MySkills to the real world.

 Spiritual Program – Students are involved in spiritual program twice a week. This program helps the students
to empower students on their personal growth journey while supporting a meaningful cause.

 Talent Program – This talent program was conducted every Saturday among the students. This will help
the students to explore their passions, develop their talents and unlock their full potential through a series
of workshops. Mentorship sessions, and performance opportunities.

 Social Events – Students are involve in social events such as Iftar, Hari Merdeka and other social events. Social
events and gatherings are more important for students to connect, engage and transform. By participating in
these events, you will not only expand your horizons but also contribute to a vibrant and inclusive community
where personal growth is nurtured and celebrated.
