Dear Sir/Maam,

The Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) is holding its 12th
Biennial Convention on September 5 and 6, 2023 at Novotel Manila Araneta City with the theme
“Moving Forward in a Hybrid World for Children of All Abilities”. In this regard, we invite you
to submit your abstract and present your research papers relevant to developmental and behavioral
pediatrics.

The biennial also features the Perla Santos-Ocampo Young Investigator Award, an anticipated
event that continues to inspire research scholars in the field of child development and behavior.
One submitted manuscript among the eligible entries from trainees and young consultants (within
5 years of graduation from fellowship training) will be selected to win the esteemed award.

 Call for Abstracts Submission Guidelines
(Deadline: July 1, 2023)

1. All Pediatrics residents, fellows-in-training, consultants and allied clinicians who

have completed a research study on child development, developmental
disorders or mental, behavioral and emotional health in children in the
Philippine setting are invited to present their work during the PSDBP Biennial
Convention.

2. The abstract body must be limited to 250 words and should include the following
sections: Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

3. Studies that have been previously published in scientific journals locally or

internationally are excluded from submission.

4. The research committee will screen all submissions according to relevance and
content.

5. Authors of selected entries must register and attend the biennial meeting.
