BY-LAWS
Tournament format: Group stage–Round robin league
Teams will play other teams in the group
Knock out stage
Qualified teams from each group will be promoted to knock out stage
Winning teams qualify for next round
If the teams are tied at end of regulation time there will be no extra-time periods. The winner of the
match will be decided by penalty 5 shootouts. No player may take more than one penalty.
Point system: In preliminary stage–Round robin league
3 points will be awarded for a win & 1 point for a draw. At the end of preliminary stage if 2 teams end up with same
point, then following procedures will be followed:
More goals scored
Less goals conceded
Head to head result
Coin flip
Division: In U18 Girls category the participants must be girls born after 31.10.2005 & students of Grade 12 and under.
In U19 category the participants must be boys born after 31.10.2004 & students of Grade 12 and under.
In U16 category the participants must be boys born after 31.10.2007.
In U12 category the participants must be boys born after 31.10.2011
** No over aged players will be allowed in any of the categories.
** If any team is found guilty of such an offence the team will be disqualified immediately.
Following match rules and regulations are going to be applied:
1. 6 a side matches. Maximum 4 substitutes allowed.
2. Return substitution allowed.
3. Boots (rubber spike) & shin guards are recommended for all the players. Barefoot NOT ALLOWED.
4. In all the categories (U12, U16, U19, U18-Girls) match duration is of 24 minutes. Each half’s are of 12 minutes. 4 minutes of interval in
between.
5. Referees decision is final. Referee has full right to penalize any player and team official.
6. Players eligibility
The player has to be an enrolled student of that particular school.
Players MUST bring their School ID card on the day of the tournament – 9th & 10th Feb, 2024.
Digital birth certificate number must be provided or scanned passport copy has to be sent along with player list by 25th Jan, 2024.
The player list needs to be signed by the Principal/Head of School and stamped by the school stamp.
ONE PLAYER is allowed to play for ONLY ONE CATEGORY.
7. No OFFSIDE.
8. FIFA rules for BACK PASSES to the goal keeper will be followed.
9. GOALS are allowed from DIRECT GOAL KICKS and Center. But not from DIRECT THROW INS.
10. A RED CARD will result in suspension in the match where the card was given and the next match as well.
11. 2 Yellow cards will lead to a red card and the player will have to leave the match and cannot be replaced. Suspension will continue through
the next match as well.
12. If you have any objection regarding any aspect of the match, you are requested to submit a written complaint to the tournament authority on
that day.
13. If a team does not arrive on time on the field, the referee will wait for 5 minutes and the present team on the field will get a ‘walk over’.

14. The organizing authority reserves the right to change the schedule at any time depending on the circumstances and no complaints will
be entertained regarding this matter. The authority has the right to take final decision during the tournament if any dispute occurs.
15. If any objection is placed, the team must produce the proof immediately. If the team fails to produce proof, then the decision taken by the
organizing committee will be considered as final.
Supervision: Every team needs to have 2 supervisors (Coach/Teacher/Administrator). At all times the students of the respective team needs to
be supervised by the respective supervisors. At no time students should remain unsupervised.
