Dear Tamil Sangams, Qatar Silambam Masters & Students,

The International Silambam Federation (ISF), Malaysia, an organization approved by the Malaysian
government, has recently announced an International Tournament in Malaysia scheduled for May 25-28,
2024. ISF has invited all silambam clubs in Qatar to participate in this esteemed event and has designated
AADHIRAN SILAMBAM Qatar, as the coordinator for Qatar.

The coaches from AADHIRAN SILAMBAM had the privilege of attending a meeting with the managing committee
of the INTERNATIONAL SILAMBAM FEDERATION in Chennai on March 17, 2024. Furthermore, Aadhiran coaches
actively engaged in the three-day workshop organized by the INTERNATIONAL SILAMBAM FEDERATION in
Chennai, where coaches from India and other countries also participated. The workshop focused on preserving
and spreading the traditional silambam practice and discussed the rules and regulations of tournaments. During
the workshop, Aadhiran Coaches selected as International Referee by the INTERNATIONAL SILAMBAM
FEDERATION, Malaysia for upcoming tournaments, other silambam tournaments and future global silambam
events.

Under the guidance of the INTERNATIONAL SILAMBAM FEDERATION, AADHIRAN SILAMBAM Qatar will host a
similar workshop in Qatar to educate local coaches and students on the rules and regulations of international
tournaments. The workshop will also involve the distribution of ISF rules and regulations books to participating
clubs.

AADHIRAN SILAMBAM kindly seeks the support and collaboration of Tamil Sangams to bring together all Qatar
Silambam Clubs for this event, ensuring that our students derive maximum benefit from this opportunity. The
future of silambam depends on adherence to these rules and regulations, emphasizing the importance of
working together for the progress of silambam students and the sport itself.
