Sub: Fixation of pay on promotion and payment of arrears Reg.

Respected Sir,
I ………………………………. working as Tech-Gr-I under the control of
SSE/Shop-……/ICF. Having Emp.No……………... with GP-2800(Level V, Basic-35900). I
was initially joined as Tech Gr-III in I.C.F. on ………………….. in GP-1900. And
subsequently promoted to Tech Gr-II and Tech Gr-I. I was promoted to Tech Gr-II on
………………… and having pay fixed after promotion 7090+2400 where as the entry pay
of Gp-2400 is 7510+2400. Similarly when I was promoted to Tech Gr-I on
…………………….. my basic pay was fixed 7990+2800 whereas the entry pay of Gp-2800
is 8560+2800. As per RBE158/2018 the pay of promote should be the minimum of
the entry pay of the respective grade pay.
Therefore I am requesting you to look into the issue and step up my basic pay on the
date of promotion to the entry pay of the respective grade pay and refixation to be
done as per 7th CPC. And the arrears of Basic pay, DA & TA(wef ………………) to be paid.
