225 g of cubed, unsalted butter at room temperature

flour 3 baking molds, 15 cm in diameter x 7 cm
high.

2. Sift the flour along with the baking powder and

mix with the salt. Set aside.

3. Beat the butter at room temperature until it

and fluffy.

4. Start adding the eggs little by little, waiting a

while before adding more so that they blend well
with the butter and sugar. If the mixture looks a
little bit clumpy, continue beating until

5. Add the vanilla extract and mix to combine.

6. Add the flour mixture in 3 parts, adding the milk between

each application. Beat at medium speed for 20 seconds
after each addition until no more flour is left.

7. Divide the beaten mixture into 3 equal parts in different

containers. Add a little bit of pink food coloring in each one,
creating a variety of different shades. Then, pour each
mixture into a different mold and put it in the oven.

8. Bake for 40 minutes or until the edges of the cake detach

from the mold and the top looks golden.

9. Remove the molds from the oven and let them cool for
10 minutes on a cooling rack. Then, remove the cakes from
their molds and let them cool completely before starting to
decorate.
