I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Hiraya is a sustainable instagram based clothing label that was established in September
2020 offering six different styles of linen tops and polos which are all sourced from coconuts.
From the customers being able to experience comfort and style, they also help out in saving the
environment and promoting sustainability.

During the ongoing Pandemic the company has noticed the loss of livelihood that are
being experienced by many, in our case the sewers. Therefore, we as a team have decided to pick
our own school’s beloved sewers to be the ones to produce the final products for us. In this
way,we aim to make their Christmas and their lives a little bit brighter despite the circumstances
that we are facing at the current time.

Moreover, the company has decided to become partners with Sinag, an initiative that
would be holding a donation drive for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses. And through this the
buyers would be given the opportunity to help out and give hope to others for the reason that
with every purchase that they make, all of the proceeds including the tops and the polos would be
given to them.

The prices of Hiraya’s tops and polos were determined by the skimming price strategy
which states that the company has set a high initial price for the products which would require
the customers to purchase products early and a way to ensure that the company would be able to
recoup the investment in the product.

Hiraya has officially released the pre-order forms on November 16,2020, and has opted to
continue the operations until the date that Sinag, our partner would collect the products for the
donation drive. Hiraya would be able to earn a net income of xxx, with xxx being the total
revenue, and xxx being the total expense.

II. MISSION, VISION, CORE VALUES

Mission Statement
“To create a fashion brand that is sustainable from locally sourced materials that would provide a
livelihood to Filipinos.”

Vision Statement
“We strive to be a brand advocating for sustainability and innovation through our clothing
line.”
“We strive to be a brand that stands strongly upon freedom of expression, evolution, and
unity.”

Core Values
Unity - We strive to be a company rooted upon the value of unity in everything we do, we are a
team, a family, and are united by our ideas, mission, and vision for the future.
Equality- We strive to be a company rooted upon by equal and fair treatment to each and
everyone no matter what age, race, beliefs, and preferences.

III. THE ENTERPRISE

Hiraya’s business structure is mainly leaning towards the General Partnership for the
reason that we are a five person small business with our own respective jobs which allows each
individual to be able to contribute whilst continuously honing and improving their skills and
harnessing their potentials to be able to have a better output that would be vital for the company.
After coming up with our business name, Hiraya was then finally officially established on
September 3, 2020. Moreover, the company is part of the Fashion industry as we aim to sell
clothing.
The company came up with this sustainable clothing idea as we believe that during this
time of pandemic it is vital to help and reach out to those who are part of the workforce in this
case the sewers who are tasked to make the clothes. We have gone through several
brainstorming processes, shared our insights and found out that amongst the wide range of
options that we have came up with we found a common ground or interest that is minimalist
clothing which was later on incorporated in our products.

4
Furthermore, the brand name “Hiraya” which means the “fruit of one’s hopes, dreams,
and aspirations” can describe the team’s goal to be able to still see the positive and good
outcomes through hard work and labor which would be evident and beneficial in the future. This
also could be applied in real life not just in the fashion field, but also the personal and societal
areas as we as one community hope for a better world for each and everyone, that could only be
achieved through teamwork, communication, and diversity.
Our Company logo basically takes on our own interpretation of our brand name as we
believe that we must take the risks and take on the full course of action needed towards the path
of reaching our goals, hopes, and dreams in our daily lives. There one can see an individual with
head wings adorning its crowning glory signifying a sort of physical manifestation of one’s
hopes and dreams which starts from within the self, made known through the head as per se.

IV. OPPORTUNITY ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH

Our target market are basically those who are in the teens and millennials sector in
society for they are those who are more exposed to the fads, trends, and news that are happening
all over social media and all over the country and worldwide.
We believe that they are the ones who seek comfort and style when it comes to fashion.
Quality is an important factor when choosing clothing therefore, we as a team chose them since
they are those who long for affordable yet stylish options for their everyday wear during
professional and personal events in their lives.

We are to gather sustainable fabric such as linen and bring them to the seamstresses in the
sewing center. After the selling period, they would be paid fairly. Given that other competitors
are engaged in selling clothes and accessories, we would gather brand ambassadors to like and
share our social media content so that we could garner more followers hence, potential buyers.
Further planning and discussions along the way could be held in messaging platforms or better,
video chat.

V. MARKETING PLAN

Our products are tops and polos. Each of them was named after local beaches such as El
Nido, Coron, Boracay, and Siargao. El Nido is a sleeveless top with buttons running down the
front. Coron is just like the previous product but with buttons on the side. Boracay and Siargao
are polos, however, the first design has six buttons with a breast pocket. The second design has
three buttons running along the upper portion of the clothing but without a breast pocket. As

6
said before, the clothing varies in tops and polos, all available in the following colors: blue, sage,
light brown, pink, olive, and tan.
The benefits of purchasing our product would be helpful to everyone since the overall
money we will get will be donating to a charity. Customers can use our product by simple
wearing and flaunting their skin tone at the same time supporting local businesses. The features
of clothing compliments the skin tone of every Filipino such as morenos/morenas,
mestizos/mestizas, and etc. Return and refunds are not applicable since customers’ orders will
proceed to the donation drive.
Our brand employs the skimming price strategy. All products are set at high prices since
we pay for the seamstresses' labor as well as the raw materials. Customers can pay either
through GCash or through the bank (BPI)
We plan to gather thirty ambassadors to like and disseminate our pub mats. Store posts
and stories are shared by including them in their own stories.
Since a lot of people, especially teenagers and millenials, use pinterest as their inspiration
in everything, the promotional strategy that we will be using is that we are going to post fashion
inspirations that are compatible with our product.
The special offer that we are planning is if the customer bought 2 products of clothing
then she will gain 1 free clothing of her/his choice. Addition to that, we have a partnership from
Sinag too.
We will advertise our product on social media namely instagram since a lot of people use
Instagram as their second home of their life inspirations. The business is located online on
Instagram; product photos, pricing, and available colors are posted in our account for all
followers and viewers to see. Clothes are made to order, production can only begin once orders
come through via Google Forms. Orders are delivered to customers through the courier Fifth
Express.
