SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

 I talk
 You talk
 We talk
 They talk
 She/he/it talks

Notice: the verb after she,he,it (3rd person singular) has a final -s.

(a) I eat breakfast every morning.


(b) Olga speaks English every day.
(c) We sleep every night.
(d) They go to the beach every weekend.

The simple present tense expresses habits. In (a): eating breakfast is a habit, a usual
activity.
To show a fact, kalo ga ada kata kerja (cukup diganti sama to be yaitu is,are,am)
Example: Borobudur temple is in centre of java.

SUBJECT + VERB (1) + OBJECT/COMPLEMENT

Frequency adverb:
Always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, rarely, never

The negative statement:


SUBJECT (I, YOU, THEY, WE) + DO + NOT + VERB (1)
SUBJECT (HE, SHE, IT) + DOES +NOT +VERB (1)
The example: she doesn’t drink coffee.

The yes/no question:


DO/DOES + SUBJECT + VERB (1)
The example: do you like tea?
