our discussion, lets us pray first.
Is anyone here who wants to
lead our prayer?

whom God's love commits me

Teacher: Okay, thank you for
that wonderful prayer Ela.

the song, Row, row, row your
boat?

Teacher: Okay, please sing Row, Row, row, row your boat

pictures of different landforms,
can anyone identify each picture
and tell me what kind of
landforms are these?

Teacher: Yes, Mika? Mika: Mountain ma’am.

Teacher: Yes! Very good Mika.

Next, yes Ethan? Ethan: Hills ma’am.

Teacher: Very Good Ethan.

prepared to our new lesson. So
nowadays it is seldom that Pupils: Yes Ma’am!
landforms can be seen in the
city, so make sure children that
you visit some when you go to
towns and others provinces.
Okay? Pupils: Yes Ma’am.

III. PROCEDURE Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity

Teacher: So now, we will have

an activity, get your paper and
ballpen and choose any landform
that you can see on the board,
describe and write down things Pupils: Yes Ma’am.
that you can see in those
landform. Are we all clear class?

Teacher: Okay class, are you all

finish with your activity?

Teacher: Then pass your paper

in the front.
Okay class, I have here flash
cards that have different
landforms. I will show these
flashcards and you have to
identify what kind of landform I
will show. The first pupil that can
raise hand and answer correctly Yes Ma’am.
will have extra 2 points. Ready?

Okay, What is this landform? Volcano!

Correct! You have 2 points. Next,

A. Engage what is this landform? Plateau!

How about this one? Hills!

And this one? Canyon!

Very good!

Okay, so to those who weren’t

able to answer better luck next
time.
Okay class I will group you into 3
groups. I will provide you a
science book and you will open it
in page 89 where you can find
different types of landform. You
are going to write a short
description of a landform that is
assign to you and you will
discuss it in front including the
characteristics of that landform
and discuss their formation
B. Explore processes.
I will give you 30mins to do this Yes Ma’am.
activity

Okay… group 1 will be volcano,

group 2 will be mountain, and
group 3 will be desert. Are we all
clear?

C. Explain When all groups are done with

the activity, they will present it to
the class. Each group will be ask

for one representative to discuss
the landform that assigned to
them and the characteristics of
that landform and its formation
processes.

Teacher: What types of landform

had been assigned to your
group?

Teacher: Based on your

research, what are the GROUP 1 : Volcano
characteristics and the formation
processes of Volcano?
A volcano is a landform that usually
has a conical shape with a crater at
the summit. It is formed by the

characteristics and the formation
processes of Mountain?

GROUP 2: Mountain

Teacher: Based on your

research, what are the A mountain is a large elevated
characteristics and the formation landform that rises significantly
processes of Desert? above its surroundings. Mountains
are typically characterized by steep
slopes, high peaks, and rugged
terrain. Mountains are primarily
formed by tectonic forces and the
movement of Earth's crustal plates.
When two plates collide, they can
compress and fold the rocks along
their boundaries, creating mountain
ranges. Mountains can also be
formed through volcanic activity,
where the accumulation of volcanic
material over time builds up into a
mountain shape.

GROUP 3: Desert

A desert is a dry, arid region with

little precipitation and sparse
vegetation. Deserts can be hot or
cold and are often characterized by
extreme temperature fluctuations
between day and night. Deserts can
form through various processes,
including rain shadow effect,
continental interior, or coastal
location.

D. Elaborate Landforms are physical features

of the Earth's terrain that develop
naturally, over geological time.
There are internal factors driving
the establishment of landforms,
such as volcanic activity
and plate tectonics, as well
as external factors, namely
Lesson Plan | ED 10 | MJEP | REF
III. PROCEDURE Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity
erosion due to precipitation,
running water, and wind. These
naturally transforming factors can
take millions of years to alter
Earth's topography and create
new landforms.

Landforms may have different

characteristics they may also
vary from appearances but they
all have important role on Earth’s
evolution. Some landforms like
mountain serves as barriers
against typhoons, provides
everything needed for life to
thrive including shelter, food and
water. Landforms serves as
habitat of all living organisms
including us , humans.

Ok class as an application of our

lesson for today, same group
that I assigned in the discussion
earlier, I need you to prepare
your 1/8 illustration board draw
the landforms in any choice that
you want and be creative. I will Yes Ma’am.
post the drawings on the board,
whichever group will win shall
have a score of 20 points. Do
this for 20 minutes.

E. Evaluate QUIZ #
