draw through all 3 loops on hook.
in tulip
Invisible Insert hook into FLO of st, insert hook into FLO 3.5 cm tall heart
of next st, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook, in hot red
yo and draw through remaining 2 loops.
The invisible decrease should make holes less
visible in the final work.
R1 ch1 (does not count as a st throughout), 6sc into ring. Pull ring tight. (6sts)
Sl st then fasten off leaving a long tail. Repeat R 1-7 (do not fasten off) and then continue below.
R8 Continue with the half sphere just completed, 12sc, insert hook into the first half sphere
(in the st just after you fastened off, see image A), 24sc, insert hook back into the next st of
the second half sphere, 12sc. (48sts)
If there is a hole where the 2 pieces are joined, sew it closed using an embroidery needle and the
tail end left on the first half sphere.
As the rounds get smaller it can get a bit fiddly, just take your time to make it as neat as possible.
If you are using invisible decreases, reverting to regular decreases may help.
Thread the tail end onto the needle and make running stitches around the stitches of the last
round. Pull the yarn to close the hole and then sew in the end. (See image B).
