Re: Invitation letter for a fund-raising banquet

As the chairman of WECARE Foundation, I am writing this letter to extend a warm intivation to
you for the annual fund-raising banquet, which will take place at the Springfield Hotel, 154
Sussex Gardens, Hyde Park, London on Thursday, December 24, from 8pm.

WECARE Foundation is a private nonprofit organization that was established 10 years ago. Our
missions are to promote the development of young people to achieve their full physical and
intellectual potential and to educate the public about the importance of being responsible
citizens.

This year, we are expecting to raise $1,000,000 in order to upgrade the equipment at the local
Children’s Medical Center. Besides, we will use this financial support to provide scholarships for
five needy Springfield High School students, who are not capable of affording college.
Additionally, we also recruit volunteers for our forthcoming charity events.
