1. All Candidates for graduation are strongly urged to see the School Year 2022-2023
office of Registrar and Admissions to hasten

2. The approval of a candidate for graduation must be in
conformity with the Universiy Manual and existing Vice-Chairperson: Dr. Angel C. Alcala  February 1, 2023
University regulations on graduation.
3. Except for those receiving their degrees from Engineering, Secretary: Atty. Fema Christina P. Sayson (SUFI)
Divinity, Law and Graduate Programs, candidates may
secure their academic caps, gowns and hoods from the Members: Dr. Emmanuel D. Abellanosa (UCCP)

A. The Baccalaureate Service is on May 28, 2023 at the Silliman


IMPORTANT NOTICES University Church. The processional march will immediately start
at 8:00 AM.

1. Commencement Rehearsal at the Uypitching Multi-purpose B. Assembly time at 7:30 AM. Candidates assemble along the roads
Hall (UMPH) on Friday, May 26, 2023. fronting the Oriental Hall, Science Complex, MMS and William
Barry Thompson; and Dignitaries assemble at the Oriental Hall
• Practice Begins: 9:00 AM Lounge.
• Shuttle Service is available but limited
Bus Area: Along Hibbard Hall
Time : 6AM- 9AM C. Five minutes before the start of the processional march, the
Silliman University Church plays the Chimes.

2. Baccalaureate Service: Sunday, May 28, 2023 D. Attendance is monitored by assigned moving staff from each
8:00 AM, SU Church college/department.

• Assembly time: 7:30 am E. All candidates are led by their Deans/Directors for Marching
• Processional march starts at 8:00 AM Advisory structure, please see page 3 of this information booklet.

3. Commencement Exercises: Sunday, May 28, 2023
Program Starts: 3:00 PM, Uypitching Multi-Purpose Hall first and follow the dignitaries.

Candidates are not allowed to roam around or do picture taking while
the program is going on. They will be barred by marshalls from
