INTRODUCTION
I greet students and introduce them to the topics of today’s lesson.
Presentation
At the beginning of the lesson ask students to tell what do they know Chickens. As you all have chickens at home
what facts can you tell me about chickens?
Practice
Then I am going to explain today's lesson. In this lesson students are going to find out about the life cycle of the
chicken. They first will have a discussion about the life of a chicken. A chicken is a bird. Chickens have got feathers
and beaks. They have got wings too but they can't fly. Chickens live on farms and they lay eggs. Later students will
complete the picture on exercise 2 by using words like eggs, chicken, chicks.
Then they will complete the life cycle of the chicken.
Production
To reflect of the vocabulary learn I will ask students to mention some of the new words that they learnt in today's
lesson.
PRACTICE
Presentation
At the beginning of the lesson ask students to tell what they know about trees. How do they help our planet?
Practice
Then I am going to explain today's lesson. In this lesson students are going to find out that planting trees is a very
good way to help the environment. I will ask them to tell me in what ways can we help environment ex: We
should plant lots of trees. Trees give oxygen. Animals live in trees. Trees keep us cool etc.
Have a discussion with the students for the concept of planting trees. I will ask students to select a tree they really
like and talk about it. They can be used for a purpose and for cleaning the air of our environment.
Production
To reflect of the vocabulary learn I will ask students to mention some of the benefits of having trees.
