Set 1
Seven boxes F, J, G, I, K, A and H are kept one above the other but not necessarily in
the same order. They contain different numbers of cups in them. Box I contains 32 cups.
Two boxes are kept between boxes I and H. Box containing 13 cups is placed just below
Box H. Box K contains 5/8 of the number of cups present in Box F. Neither F or J is kept
at top or bottom. Box G contains 13 cups. Box K is above the box containing 51 cups,
which is above box J. One of the boxes contain 29 cups. Two boxes are kept between
Boxes J and F , only one of them is above box I. Two boxes are between the boxes
containing 40 and 81, which is not above the box containing 40 cups. Box A contains
cups which is more than the cups Box F has. The number of boxes between Boxes A and
F is same as between Boxes A and H.

SET 2
Nine persons are sitting in a row such that some of them are facing north and some are
facing south. G sits in the middle of the row and faces north. Not more than three
persons are facing south. H is immediate left to D. E faces south and faces same
direction as B. The one sitting at the end are facing opposite direction. C, who sits next
to G and I are immediate left to each other. Four persons sit between A and E. Two
persons are sitting between E and B, who is right to G.

SET 3
Seven persons J, K, L, M, N, O and P were born in different months viz. January, March,
April, June, July, August and September of the same year, but not necessarily in the
same order. Two persons were born between O and P, who was born in the month
having 30 days. L was born in January. Three persons were born between L and N. J is
younger to M but elder to K. Persons born before J are less than the persons born after
J. N was not born after O.

Eight friends A, B, C, D, P, Q, R and S are sitting around a circular table with equal
distance between them but not necessarily in the same order. Four of them are facing
the center while rest face outside (i.e. opposite to center).C sits second to the left of P.
Two persons sit between C and D, who is not an immediate neighbor of P. S and A face
same direction as B. A sits second to the left of C. B is an immediate neighbour of P but
not of C. B is facing outside. S sits third to the right of Q, who is an immediate neighbor
of B. S is not a neighbor of A.

SET 5
Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W are sitting in two rows in such a way that P, Q, R
and S sit in row-1 while T, U, V, W sit in row-2. The persons of both the rows sit
opposite to each other and also, they are facing towards each other. The persons of row-
1 are facing towards north direction while the persons of row-2 are facing towards south
direction. V sits second to the left of T. The one, who faces V is an immediate neighbour
of P, who does not face U. R does not face U and Q does not face T. S is not an
immediate neighbour of R. S does not face T. Q sits to the immediate right of the one,
who faces V.

Seven persons lives on seven different floors from top to bottom such as ground floor is
numbered as 1 and top floor is numbered as 7 and they used to buy different items viz.
Blanket, Carpet, Phone, Watch, TV, Mixer and Laptop. The one, who buys Phone, lives
on an even numbered floor but below floor number-5. There are two floors in between
the one, who buys Watch and the one, who buy Phone. Only one person lives in between
the one, who buys Watch and the one, who buys TV. The one, who buy TV lives below
the one, who buys Watch. The one, who buys Blanket lives immediately above the one
who buys Mixer. Only one person lives in between the one, who buys Blanket and the
one, who buys Laptop.

SET 7
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H are sitting around a square table. Four persons are
sitting at the corners of the table while four are sitting at the middle of the side of the
table. The persons sitting at the corner are facing inside while the persons sitting at the
middle of the side of the table are facing outside. A sit second to the right of E. Both C
and F are immediate neighbour of each other. H sits third to the left of D who is an
immediate neighbour of A. F sits diagonally opposite to G. A does not sit opposite to C.

Seven persons born in different months January, February, March, April, May, June, July
and they have different ages in multiple of 3. The one, who was born in April has age
equals to the number of Days in that month. The one whose age is 18 years was born in
a month which has even number of days. The one whose age is cube of 3 was born in
that month which has least number of days. The age of the person who was born in
March is equal to the thrice of the difference of the ages of the one who was born in
February and the one who was born in April. The age of the one, who was born in
January has age equal to twice of the 1/6th of the age of the one, who was born in June.
The age of one of the person, who was born in a month before June has age equal to the
sum of the ages of the one, who was born in March and the one, who was born in
February. The age of a person, who was born in a month which has 31 days, less than
40 but greater than the age of the one, who was born in May.

Eight persons G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N lives on eight different floors from bottom to top such
as ground floor is numbered as 1 and top floor is numbered as 8. I lives on an even
number floor. Only three persons live between I and J. Only one persons live between N
and K and both live on an odd number floor and both of them live above I. Two persons
live between G and H, who live on even number floor. G does not live on ground floor.
Both M and L lives below G. M does not live on ground floor. N lives above H.

SET 10
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table. Four of them
are facing towards the center while four of them are facing away from the center. A sit
third to the left of H. G sits fourth to the right of C, who is an immediate neighbor of H.
B sits second to the right of D. F sits second to the left of G. B is not an immediate
neighbor of A. D is facing away from the center. Both the immediate neighbor of H faces
opposite direction of H. Both A and B are facing same direction with each other.

D bought the house after E. A was the first person to buy the house. G bought the house
immediately before F who bought the house in an even year. B bought the house either

letters in English alphabet series.

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are living on eight different floors of a building.
The floors are numbered from 1 to 8 starting with ground floor numbered as 1, first floor

the left of P who was seated on one of the shorter edges. Q was seated on one of the

Seven boxes i.e. A, B, C, D, E, F and G are arranged in a stack such that topmost box is
numbered 7 and lowermost box is numbered 1, but not necessarily in same order. All
seven boxes have different colors i.e. red, black, purple, blue, white, orange and yellow
but not necessarily in same order. Only 4 boxes are placed below black box. There is
only 1 box between A and black box. Number of boxes below B, are same as number of
boxes above C. Neither A nor B is white colored. Purple box is placed immediately below
A. Number of boxes between A and Black box are same as number of boxes between B
and Black box. Orange box is an even numbered box, placed Just above D. Only 2 boxes

Boxes with prime number of pens are adjacent to each other. G is two boxes above the
box with 7 pens. C is immediately above the box with 5 pens. F is immediately above B.
D has 8 pens. A is three boxes above G. B has one pen more than E, which is box 1. F
has more pens than G, which has more pens than . 7

Eight players A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H play for three different teams i.e. CSK, SRH and
DD and belong to eight different cities viz. Chennai, Pune, Chandigarh, Patna, Ranchi,
Shimla, Bengaluru and Kochi but not in the same order. At least two players play for the
same team and not more than three players are in same team.
D plays for CSK and belongs to Chennai. The only other player in the same team with D
belongs to Chandigarh. H belongs to Kochi and G belongs to Pune. E does not belong to
Chandigarh and plays for the same team with H. A and C both play for DD. The persons

Fourteen persons are sitting at an equal distance in two parallel rows, such that , A
through G are sitting in row 1 facing north and P through V are sitting in row 2 facing
south. Both the rows are facing each other.
C is sitting 3 to the right of G, who is sitting opposite to P. Three persons are sitting
between P and V. Q is sitting opposite to the immediate neighbour of G. B and C are not
sitting adjacent to each other. Two persons are sitting between V and U. One person is

them likes different colors (Orange, Blue, White, Green, Yellow, Black, Grey, Red, Violet
and Pink).
Persons, whose names start with vowels, don’t sit adjacent to each other.B sits 3 to the
left of E. Person, who likes Yellow, sits 2 to the right of I but not at extreme end.I sits to
the right of E. U likes Orange and sits to the left of B, who likes Green. A likes Grey. R
sits immediate right of A. Person, who likes white, sits immediate right of S. I doesn’t

Nine persons R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z live on different floors of a building. The
bottommost floor is numbered 1 and the topmost floor is numbered 9. Each of these
persons has different designation (from senior to junior) in the order as SP, DSP, Senior
Inspector (SI), Inspector, ASI, Incharge, HC, SC and Constable. They live in the same
order from 9 floor to 1 floor (i.e. SP lives on 9 floor, Constable live on 1 floor). W lives
three floors above X but not above 6 floor. At least two persons live below X. One

Six persons G, H, J, K, L and M belong to different places Pune, Gwalior, Lucknow,
Bhopal, Jaipur and New Delhi. Each of them has different number of books (2, 4, 5, 6, 7
and 8).
M has one book more than J, who is from New Delhi. J has prime number of books. Sum
of books with M and G is 10. Person from Lucknow has 2 books. G is not from Lucknow.
L has one book less than the one from Gwalior. H has more books than K. L belongs to
neither Bhopal nor Pune. M is not from Bhopal.

SET 4
Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W sit around a circular table. Some of them face
towards the centre while others face outside. Persons, sitting opposite to each other,
face opposite directions.
V sits 3 to the left of U, who faces towards the centre. S sits 2 to the left of V but not
immediate left of U. W sits 2 to the left of P, who sits adjacent to S. Q and T sit to the
immediate left of each other. R and T face same direction. S faces outside.

Six Athletes K, L, M, N, O and P have won different number of medals among 1, 2, 3, 4,
5 and 6 during an Athletic meet. Each of them belongs to different countries among
France, Finland, Brazil, Austria, Russia and Australia.

medals won by L. Athlete from France has won two medals more than N, who has not
won prime number of medals. P has won one medal less than the athlete from Russia. K

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W sit around sit around a square shaped table.
Four among them sit along the middle of each sides facing towards the centre while
others sit at the corners facing outside.V sits 3 to the left of Q, who faces towards the
centre.P doesn’t sit adjacent to T. One person sits between P and S. T sits opposite to U.
R and S face opposite directions. U sits adjacent to Q.

SET 7
Ten persons (L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T and U) live on 10 different flats of a 5 storey
building, where the bottommost floor is 1 and the floor above is 2 and so on. There are
2 types of flats on each floor, flat A and flat B such that flat A is in the west of flat B. Flat
A of floor 1 is immediately below of flat A of floor 2, which is immediately below of flat A
of floor 3 and so on, similarly for flat B. The dimensions of each of the flats is same

Box U, which contain pamphlet of Hansraj, is just above box T, which contains pamphlet
of Hindu. There is one box between box V and box R. Box V, which contains pamphlet of
DDU, is box 8. Box Q is three boxes above the box, which contains pamphlets of AKG.
Box X is the bottommost box. Box Q is the odd numbered box except box 9. Box S is at
least three boxes above box W, which does not contain the pamphlet of AKG. Pamphlet
of Stephen college is in even numbered box. Pamphlet of SRCC is two boxes above
pamphlet of KMC, which is not in box W.

SET 9
Eight persons Andy, Aria, Anna, Simon, Neon, Kary, Marcus and Kimy are sitting in two
parallel rows containing four persons in each row. Andy, Aria, Anna and Simon are
sitting in row 1 and facing north while others are sitting in row 2 and facing south but
not in the same order. Each of the two rows consists of one Banker, one Actor, one
Painter and one Writer thus each person sitting in row 1 faces another person sitting in
row 2 and vice versa.
The Banker of row 1 sits second to the right of Simon. Kary faces the one of the
immediate neighbors of Simon. Anna faces the one of the immediate neighbors of the
Banker of row 2. The one who faces the Writer of row 2 is an immediate neighbor of

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W work in different cities viz. Delhi, Mumbai and
Pune. Not more than three persons work in a single city. Also, each of them uses
different brands of watch i.e. MI, Apple, Rado, Titan, Fastrack, Samsung, Sonata and
Maxima but not in the same order.
R likes Sonata brand and works in Pune. Q works in the same city with only one who
likes MI brand. Neither S nor T works in the same city as Q. U likes Fastrack brand. Both
P and W work in the same city. One of those persons, who works in Pune likes Rado
brand. Neither P nor S works in Pune. One of the persons, who works in Mumbai likes
Samsung brand. The one who works in the same city as V does not like Samsung brand.
W does not like Samsung brand. Q neither likes Titan nor Maxima brand. W does not like
Titan brand. S does not like Samsung.

There are six racks stacked one over another. Each rack has belongings of six different
persons. No two belongings are same. L has kept stationary items on his rack. There are
two racks in between the one which has first aid and the one that belongs to A. T has his
rack immediately below that of J. Books are kept immediately below jewellery. The rack

Eight persons are sitting around a square table such that one person is sitting at each corner
facing outward while one person is sitting at the middle of each edge facing inward. A is
sitting third to the right of L. One person is sitting in between L and O. W is an immediate
neighbour of O. W is not sitting exactly opposite to A. N is an immediate neighbour of P. P is
sitting at the corner. B is not a neghbour of A. Less than four persons are sitting in between
M and N, when counted to the right of N. No two persons whose names start with vowels
are sitting adjacent to each other

ground floor is numbered as 1, above it is floor 2 then the topmost floor is numbered as 5.
Each of the floors has 2 flats in it as flat-1 and flat-2. Flat-1 of floor-2 is immediately above
flat-1 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-1 of floor-3 and so on. In the same way, flat-2
of floor-2 is immediately above flat-2 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-2 of floor-3 and
so on. Flat-1 is in the west of flat-2.
A lives on an even-numbered floor and in an even-numbered flat. Three persons live
between A and L. B lives on an even prime numbered floor. More than three persons live
between B and H. G and D lives on the same floor but after A. G does not live in the same
flat as A. E lives immediately below H, but both are living in different flat number. C and K
live in the same flat, but both live above L’s floor. More than three persons live between C
and F.

Some persons sit in a row facing in the north direction. G sits third to the right of C. One
person sits between G and A. Two persons sit between A and B. B is in the right of A. J sits
third from the right end of the row. K sits second from the left end of the row. Eight persons
sit to the right of G. Two persons sit between J and F. No one sits between J and B. More

Eight Persons have to attend a meeting in Raipur in four different months i.e. January,
February, March and April on two different dates 7 , and 10 . Only person will attend
meeting on one date. Each of them is from different cities Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bhopal,

S is from Ahmedabad and attends a meeting on a date which is prime number and
attends the meeting on a month which has less than 31 days. Z comes to attends
meeting after X but before Y. The number of people who attend meeting between S and
A is same as number of people who attend meeting between the one who is from
Mumbai and the one who is from Delhi. S and A both are neither from Delhi nor from
Mumbai. Three people will attend between C and the one who is from Mumbai. The
person who is from Indore will attend the meeting immediately after A will attend the
meeting. D stay 3 days in Raipur to meets his friend F who is coming from Jabalpur to
attend the meeting and he is not from Pune. C is from Bhopal and the meeting on 10 of
March. S and A doesn’t attend meeting on April month.

There are eight people, A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H who live on different floors of a
building. The ground floor of the building is numbered 1, the floor above it is 2 until the

facing the center while the other is facing outside the center or vice versa). S faces in
the same direction as O. R sits second to the right of O. N sits third to the right of R,

Eight people S, Q, A, P, G, O, X and T are sitting around a square table in such a way
that four of them sit at four corners of the square while four sit in the middle of each of
the four sides. People who are sitting at the corner are facing outside the center while
people sitting in the middle are facing the center. G sits second to the right of T. O is
sitting opposite to G. S is sitting third to the right of G. Three people are sitting between
T and X. A is sitting second to the left of Q, who is one of the immediate neighbours of
G. P is sitting at one of the corners of the square and is facing outside

Eight persons - S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z were seated around a circular table in which
some of them were facing inwards and rest were facing outwards. Not more than three
persons were facing inwards. Y was seated second to the right of T and were facing

Seven people lived on seven different floors of an apartment.The floors were numbered
from 1-7 such that the lowermost floor is numbered 1.Due to the spread of a deadly
virus, it was decided that only one person will go out on a particular day of the week. So
in the same week which starts from Monday, each day a different person went out. G
went immediately after B and lived adjacent to the person who went on Saturday. F
lived immediately above A. D lived on an even floor immediately below the person who
went out on Monday.E lived on an adjacent floor to the person who went on Monday.

in the same year. The persons present age was calculated based on the year 2019. M's
age was in multiple of three. One person was born between R and N. Three persons
were born between O and S. Difference between the ages of P and Q is six. One person
was born between P and T. R was born immediately before U. Difference between the
