1. Lorraine Pascale
Lorraine Pascale (born 17 November 1972) is an English television cook and former
model, best known for selling almost one million books in the UK alone. She has presented
three television series for the BBC and has opened her own retail outlet in London selling
baked goods.
2. Duff Goldman
Jeffrey Adam "Duff" Goldman (born December 17, 1974) is a pastry chef and
television personality. He is the executive chef of the Baltimore-based Charm City Cakes
shop which was featured in the Food Network reality television show Ace of Cakes, and his
second Los Angeles-based shop Charm City Cakes West, which is featured in Food
Network's Duff Till Dawn and "Cake Masters" series. His work has also been featured on the
Food Network Challenge, Iron Chef America, Oprah, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Man
v. Food, ”Buddy vs. Duff”, and “Duff Takes the Cake.”

3. Gaston Lenôtre
Gaston Lenôtre (born May 28, 1920 in Normandy, France – died January 8, 2009) was
a French pastry chef known as a possible creator of the opera cake (opéra gâteau), the
founder of "Lenôtre" a culinary empire; whose brand includes restaurants, catering services,
retail concerns and cooking schools, and one of the three founders with Paul Bocuse and
Roger Verge of Les Chefs de France at EPCOT in Orlando, Florida.

4. Elizabeth Falkner
Elizabeth Falkner (born February 12, 1966) is an American consulting chef. She is
currently residing and working in New York and has been cooking since 1990. She
frequently appears as a competitor and sometimes a judge on many of the cooking
competitions on television from "The Next Iron Chef, Super Chefs", 2011 and "The Next Iron
Chef, Redemption", 2012, (both Food Network), as well as "Chopped All Stars", (Food
Network), "Top Chef Masters", "Top Chef", "Top Chef: Just Desserts", (Bravo), "Top Chef,
Canada", "Food Network Challenge", (Food Network). Falkner was the
executive/chef/pastry chef and managing partner of CitizenCake for 14 years, and executive
chef and co-owner/co-managing

5. William Yosses
William "Bill" Yosses (born about 1952) is an American chef who is best known as co-
author of the book Desserts For Dummies and for being the White House Executive Pastry
Chef from 2007 to 2014. Yosses is now the owner of the pastry company Perfect Pie, which is
based in New York City
6. Gale Gand
Gale Gand is a Chicago-based pastry chef, cookbook author, television personality, and
winner of the 2001 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef. Gand was the
host of the Food Network show Sweet Dreams. She was the Chef-in-Residence at Elawa Farm,
in Lake Forest, Illinois. Gand is a partner and was the founding Executive Pastry Chef at Tru, a
contemporary fine-dining restaurant affiliated with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. Gand and
her partners at Tru won the 2007 James Beard Foundation Award for Service. She has blogged
for the Huffington Post, was a contestant on Iron Chef America in the 2006-2007 season, and
was a judge on Bravo's Top Chef in 2008 for

7. Roland Mesnier
Roland Mesnier (born July 8 1944) is a French-American pastry chef and culinary writer.
His creations during his twenty five years as Executive Pastry Chef (1979–2004) at the White
House earned him the reputation of a creative genius. Mesnier was born into a family of nine
children in the village of Bonnay, France. He first became interested in becoming a chef when
he visited his brother's pastry shop in a nearby city and was delighted by the smell of fresh fruit
in the kitchen. When he was fourteen, his mother secured an apprenticeship for him at a pastry
shop in Besançon. He worked from 6am to 8pm six days a week and in exchange received 300
francs a month, plus room and board, in

8. Stephen Durfee
Stephen Durfee worked for over five years at the prestigious French Laundry Restaurant
and contributed several recipes for The French Laundry Cookbook. In 1998 he won the James
Beard Award for "Outstanding Pastry Chef".
9. James Roselle
James Rosselle is a pastry chef who gained fame appearing on the Food Network
Challenge where he has won 3 cake baking challenges. He owns his own cake shop in
southern California.

10. François Payard


François Payard (born July 16, 1966) is the owner of Payard Patisserie & Bistro, FP
Patisserie, and FP bakery in New York, and a former pastry chef at some of the world's finest
restaurants, including Le Bernardin and DANIEL, also in New York City.
