JOB TITLE: Engineer 3 - Electrical

SUPERVISOR: Manager/Lead – Electrical & Instrumentation

BASIC PURPOSE:

Responsible for developing all the Electrical, Engineering & design deliverables.
Assisting the lead engineer in identifying the needs, monitoring progress and updating
the status.

EDUCATIONAL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

ME/BE (Electrical) with minimum 12/18 years of experience in relevant discipline.

TYPICAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Estimation of Electrical work.

2. Cable tray sizing & cable tray layout
3. Electrical equipment layouts
4. Generation of Single line diagrams and Schematics.
5. Design of lighting and Preparation of Lighting distribution details.
6. Preparation of Power and Grounding Layouts.
7. Preparation of Plant Layout.
8. Checking of circuit diagrams and interlocks for switchboards.
9. Exposure in preparation of Interconnection diagrams.
10. Exposure in Cable Schedule and Interconnection Diagrams.
11. HT and LT Cable sizing and cable schedule.
12. Able to handle modeling activities.
13. Load list and load flow analysis.
14. Able to write standard specification.
15. Any other relevant activities as defined by the Manager/Lead.
