WEEK 1

NARRATIVE REPORT

Today is February 4, 2024, the first Sunday of the second semester of CWTS. As usual,
we have to clean our place in the CHMT building, but what's new is another set of
groups has been confirmed. We now have two groups, and I'm excited about the
future plans of our group because we will have activities and programs outside the
campus. These include a feeding program and general cleaning in nearby areas.

Furthermore, during our visit to AC, we received reminders and a warm welcome in
anticipation of the new semester and the exciting activities planned for this term. It's
inspiring to see our group expanding and taking on new responsibilities. We
discussed various ideas for community service, and it's heartening to know that we
are not only focusing on academic pursuits but also actively contributing to the
welfare of our community.

The sense of camaraderie is growing, and I look forward to the positive impact we
can make together. This semester seems full of promise, and I'm eager to see how
our group's initiatives unfold and make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Viriña, Mark Louie B.

WEEK 2
NARRATIVE REPORT

Today is February 11, 2024, the Second Sunday of the second semester of CWTS.
Because last Sunday, we cleaned our place in the CHMT building, this time around
another set of groups will clean the place. After that, we have to go to AC again to
listen to a lecture on CWTS. This time, we studied what exactly a community is.

A community refers to a group of people who share common characteristics,

interests, or experiences and live in the same area or within proximity to each other.
Communities can be defined by geographical location, such as a neighborhood or
town, or they can be based on shared interests, values, or goals, even if members are
dispersed across different locations.

Next are the elements of the community: a group of people, a definite locality,
community sentiment, naturality, permanence, similarity, wider ends, total organized
social life, a particular name, no legal status, size of the community, concrete nature,
and lastly, community.

WEEK 3
NARRATIVE REPORT

Today is February 18, 2024, marking the third Sunday of the second semester of
CWTS. There have been slight changes in the schedule; previously, our routine began
with cleaning the building, but now, lectures take precedence. In the attached
picture, our first reporter, who is our leader, is accompanied by our second leader.
They discussed the topics of community service and community immersion,
emphasizing their importance and outlining the necessary actions.

What I learned from their presentation is that participating in community service and
immersion promotes self-reflection on one's role in society. It underscores the
interdependence of people and highlights our shared responsibility to contribute
positively to our community. Meaningful engagement in community-building
activities fosters empathy towards others, a deeper awareness of local issues, and a
sense of fulfillment. Additionally, reflecting on one's community service experiences
helps individuals comprehend the significance of their actions, fostering personal
development and a commitment to ongoing efforts for positive change.

WEEK 4
NARRATIVE REPORT

oday is February 25, 2024, marking the Fourth Sunday of the second semester of CWTS. Our
schedule begins with a lecture on the process of community immersion and once again, the
presenter is Ms. Jacky. We received valuable and knowledgeable information about the
topic, with one of the best takeaways being the importance of planning.

Plan and planning are key concepts; a plan is your imagination of a certain idea that you
need to establish, while planning is crucial in various aspects of life. It provides an ideal goal
to achieve and helps navigate specific ideas. Planning assists in organizing tasks, allocating
resources efficiently, and anticipating potential obstacles you may face in the planning
journey.

Another essential aspect discussed is project termination. Project termination holds

significance as it marks the end of a project. It aids in realizing resources, learning from the
experience, and evaluating how well the project went. This process ensures that everything
is wrapped up neatly, allowing organizations to focus on what comes next.

WEEK 5
NARRATIVE REPORT

On March 3, 2024, face-to-face classes were canceled due to a civil engineering examination
at the school. Despite this, Ma'am Lesley assigned tasks from the CWTS book. Students,
including myself, completed the assignments independently. Though different from the usual
routine, the day was still productive, highlighting the importance of adaptability and
resilience in academic pursuits.

WEEK 7
NARRATIVE REPORT

Today, March 23, 2024, marks the Inauguration Ceremony of the upgraded college kitchen
facilities for hospitality and tourism students—a significant milestone in our commitment to
providing quality education and practical training. The project, aimed at modernizing and
enhancing the culinary infrastructure of the college, signifies a pivotal moment in our
journey.

The day commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by LSPU faculty, staff,
students, and esteemed guests. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and excitement as
everyone gathered to witness the culmination of months of planning and hard work.
Following the ribbon-cutting, LSPU officials delivered a warm welcome address, expressing
gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful completion of the project. They
highlighted the significance of the upgraded kitchen facilities in enriching the learning
experience of our students and preparing them for careers in the culinary arts.

Attendees were treated to guided tours of the newly renovated kitchen facilities, led by
faculty members and student ambassadors. These tours offered an opportunity to explore the
state-of-the-art equipment, modern amenities, and enhanced learning spaces that now define
our culinary program.

With renewed enthusiasm and a sense of camaraderie, we bid farewell to a memorable day
filled with joy, inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose. As we embark on the next phase
of our journey, we carry with us the lessons learned and the memories forged on this special
occasion, fueling our determination to strive for excellence in all endeavors.

WEEK 8
NARRATIVE REPORT

Today, on the 8th week of our CWTS for the Second Semester, our class convened for
an important reporting session. As a member of the class, I had the privilege of being
designated as one of the reporters for the Capability Building Training segment, tasked with
presenting our progress and insights gained from our activities. Additionally, we eagerly
anticipated the presentation from the next group, who would be sharing their Project
Proposal.

In my role as a reporter for the Capability Building Training segment, I had the
opportunity to showcase the initiatives our group had undertaken to empower members of
our community. Through workshops, training sessions, and skill-building activities, we aimed
to equip individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary for personal and professional
development. I detailed the impact of these efforts, providing examples of how our activities
had positively influenced the lives of participants and contributed to the overall growth of
our community.

Following our presentation, the spotlight shifted to the next group, who presented
their Project Proposal. It was inspiring to witness the diversity of ideas and the level of
creativity displayed in their proposals. From environmental conservation projects to
healthcare initiatives, each proposal demonstrated a genuine commitment to addressing
pressing issues within our community and effecting positive change.
