VA/SA/FA10\VA/SA/FA20 Glass rotor

Overview
This series of flow meters is the introduction type. It can be supplied
with millimetrescale, percentagescale,flowscaleandremovableexternalscale. The
GA24, FA10and FA20models are available withmovable flange connections (flange
standard GB/T919-2000, also available on request), the VA10 and VA20 models
are available with threaded connections and the SA10 and SA20 models are
available with hose connections.

Male thread plus 2 cm Installation instructions

1、 Before installation the flowmeter should be carefully checked for damage to the sharp edge of the float
measurement (reading edge). Flowmeters with guide rods should have the filler that prevents the float
from jumping removed during transport and check that the float can slide freely on the guide rod.
2、 The flow meter should be installed in a vertical position (the angle between the centre line of the flow
meter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 ° ) and have a reliable support, and should not be subject
to any tension and pressure from the pipeline. Newly installed pipeline, the pipe should be flushed clean
after the installation of the flowmeter. The fluid to be measured enters at the lower end of the meter and
exits at the upper end. Note that any flow meter should never be held in the hand!
3、 Upstream of the flow meter (inlet end) should be 5 to 10 times the nominal diameter of the straight pipe
section
4、 The fluid to be measured must not be mixed with large particles of dirt, otherwise the float will be stuck
or block the flowmeter pathway, as necessary to install a filter upstream of the flowmeter.
5、 The measured fluid pressure must be stable, fluid pressure instability will cause float fluctuations, can not
be accurately measured, the flowmeter should be set upstream of the buffer or fixed value.
6、 There is backflow in the pipeline, especially water hammer, to prevent damage to the flowmeter should
be installed in the flowmeter downstream valve after the one-way check valve.
7、 If the liquid to be measured contains water bubbles, there should be an exhaust port on the flow meter.
Instructions for use
1、 The valve upstream of the flowmeter should be opened slowly to prevent the float from suddenly surging
upwards and damaging the glass tube, then the flow rate should be adjusted with the downstream
regulating valve, and when stopping work, the upstream valve should be closed first, then the
downstream regulating valve. It is recommended to wrap a metal mesh around the outside of the
flowmeter to enhance safety protection.
2、 Rapid changes in the temperature of the fluid to be measured should be avoided.
3、 When the cone tube and float are stained, they should be cleaned promptly.
4、 Regularly check the error of the flowmeter, once the specified error is exceeded, the float and cone tube
should be exchanged or recalibrated.
5、 If the flowmeter is found to be leaking during use, it is generally a seal failure and should be replaced.
