ORDINARY PASSPORT (NON AUSTRALIAN)

You need to apply online for the visa on www.evisa.gov.tr . If you are holding any Schengen, United
Kingdom, United States or Ireland visa, you might be eligible for the Turkish e-visa, please check
your eligibility on the website.

If you are not eligible for the e-visa, you must apply through www.visa.gov.tr .
Application form must be completed before you can view, print or save your form. You will need to
print your completed form.
You will need to sign your form in blue ink and lodge it in person.
Please follow the prompts, upload all the documents that is listed.
Save + Print + Submit your application (Don’t forget to PRINTOUT a hardcopy of your application)
Make an online appointment to present the original and the PRINTED version of the below documents
to the Consulate.
It takes about 6-8 weeks for the visa to be approved / rejected.
Please DO NOT purchase the flight tickets or pay for the Hotel bookings before your visa is issued.
Provide only the reservations to the Consulate.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PRESENTED
• Visa Application Form (www.visa.gov.tr)
• Valid Passport
• 2 Passport photo (size 5 x 5 cm. background only white)
• Formal Employment/Education letter if you are working or studying
• Bank Statement with sufficient funds to accommodate your stay in Türkiye
• Full Accommodation Address in Türkiye (Hotel booking)
• Contact details of the Family member/Friends you visiting or staying with (Rental agreement)
• Travel Itinerary
• Overseas Travel insurance (read the second page information for the medical conditions)
• Visa Fee - Cash (It changes from country to country and visa fees are not refundable in cases
where applications are rejected)
• Residence Permit / ID card / UNHCR Refugee Certificate of you - if you have - and your family
members /person you visiting in Türkiye
• Australian Visa Copy if you are applying with a current ordinary passport
• Pick up options need to be organized by the applicant

All applicants are required to have a travel insurance that will be valid during their stay in
Türkiye. Your insurance must cover:

 Medical Sickness & Accident Coverage (includes Emergency Evacuation)

 Transfer to the closest hospital or medical department
 Repatriation of Remains

You can contact any insurance company, however please make sure the insurance covers all above
points. Please make sure to show the points in insurance documents by highlighting the title and pages.
The application will be refused if the health/travel insurance is not covering all the points.
