MAXIMUM POWER TRANSFER THEOREM


AIM : To verify maximum power transfer theorem and verify the same theoretically

APPARATUS : Circuit board, ammeter (0-mA), voltmeter (0-V) , regulated power supply
(0-30V)

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:-

THEORY :
1) State the condition for maximum power transfer in a given circuit
2) Calculate Thevenin’s equivalent circuit for given network
3) Calculate the maximum power and condition for maximum power for given circuit.

PROCEDURE :
1) Connect the circuit as shown in fig.
2) Adjust supply voltage to 20V.
3) Note voltage and current for each adjustment (in steps of 5 mA)
