Leadership

Position assessment:

Since late March, the freshman representatives and I have collaborated diligently to achieve

notable results. Our focus has been on organizing the Students VS Staff Basketball Game, a task

we've been actively involved in since the end of March. This involved reaching out to both staff

and students via email, creating promotional materials such as posters and social media

announcements, as well as holding multiple meetings with our Head Advisor, Mr. Perez.

Additionally, we handled administrative tasks such as completing necessary paperwork like

cashbox requests, procedure forms, and facility requests. Together, we brainstormed ideas for the

halftime game. For the event itself, we encouraged attendance from the leadership program and

managed attendance records as freshman representatives. Apart from this, we've been dedicated

to planning the Leadership Banquet and deciding on a gift for Mr. Perez. To gather ideas, we

convened a meeting with the freshman representatives and sought input from upperclassmen on

their previous gifts to Mr. Perez. After careful consideration, we decided on presenting him with

a Notre Dame hat, along with handwritten letters expressing our appreciation. Furthermore, we

organized a group photo, signed by all of us, to accompany the gift. Additionally, I've maintained

personal organization and focus amidst the school's final months. My mock interview experience

was successful, thanks to diligent preparation, which included crafting emails, resume, cover
letter, and acing the interview itself. Moreover, I fulfilled my community service commitment by

volunteering for three hours at Park View. Attending a mandatory Leadership Meeting on April

18 during lunch, I submitted my permission slip for the upcoming core camp.

Standing committee: I am not part of a standing committee at this time.

Special committee :

A special committee I was in was the clean up for the leadership banquet. Most of the students

had already left but I had stayed behind to help clean up

Mentorship Assessment:

Reflecting on my mentorship with Eric, I've found it to be a valuable support system during my

leadership journey. As responsibilities intensified, Eric became a reliable resource, offering

guidance and advice whenever needed. His insight and encouragement have been instrumental in

navigating challenges and fostering personal growth. . I am grateful for Eric's mentorship and the

positive impact it has had on my leadership experience. The thing I am most thankful for from

Eric is his ability to be my friend over the last month I feel that my bond with him has grown and

that’s what makes me the happiest.

Positive feedback:

My positive feedback is not directed towards a single person but rather to all those who were

awarded at the banquet. Their leadership is truly valuable and if they didn’t already I hope they

realize that by winning these awards.

Core principles:

In embodying these principles, I've strived to maintain authenticity and trustworthiness in all my

interactions. Whether it's offering a listening ear or sharing insights, I aim to be genuine and

sincere. Empowering others is at the core of my approach, as I believe in lifting people up and

encouraging them to reach their full potential. Embracing change has been a journey of growth

for me, as I've learned to adapt and evolve in the face of new opportunities and challenges. I

value the unique contributions of each individual, recognizing that diversity enriches our

collective experience. By fostering an environment of inclusivity and support, I aim to empower

others to thrive and make a positive impact in their own way.

My Impact:

On campus, my impact is palpable through the relationships I've cultivated and the positive

energy I bring to various activities. Whether it's cheering on classmates at sports events or

collaborating on group projects, I strive to foster a supportive and inclusive environment. My

involvement in extracurricular activities allows me to connect with diverse groups of people and

spread positivity. Through my leadership roles, I aim to inspire others to take initiative and make

a difference in their community. By embodying core values like integrity, empathy, and

resilience, I hope to leave a lasting impression and contribute to a vibrant and thriving campus

culture.
