Let’s talk about “WILL”


O “Will” é o verbo auxiliar do inglês que coloca
as frases no futuro. Este é chamado de “Simple
future” ou “Futuro simples”. Em português o
tempo correspondente é equivalente ao Futuro do
presente ou modo indicativo.
Diferente dos outros verbos auxiliares, o “Will”
será o mesmo para todas as pessoas do inglês, sem
modificação.

EXAMPLES

AFFIRMATIVE:
I eat French fries (present). = Eu como batata frita
(presente)
I will eat french fries (future). = Eu vou comer batata frita
(futuro)
Perceba que apenas adicionamos o “Will” sem alterar a
frase, apenas alterando seu significado.

NEGATIVE:
I sleep with you (present). = Eu durmo com você (presente)
I will not (won’t) sleep with you (future). = Eu não vou
dormir com você (futuro)

INTERROGATIVE:
Do you want onions? (present). = Você quer cebolas?
(presente)
Will you want onions? (future). = Você vai querer cebolas?
(futuro)
