Find a news story on the website of your local newspaper and rewrite it as a radio reader story.

Use a
delayed lead, brief and concise sentences, active voice, and a conversational story structure. Make the
story run forty-five seconds long. Format your copy using the radio copy conventions found on page 196.
Post your response then provide feedback to at least one of your peers.

Concerts returning to Burlington County Amphitheater.

Host One: Hello everyone and welcome back to 92.5 a South Jersey station. Today we got the news of a
return of good live music and the outdoors. After such a grey, wet, and dreary summer, I imagine
everyone needs a little taste of the sun and outdoors. With that being said, the Burlington County
Amphitheater will be hosting various artists all summer for all your music needs. Starting June 28th
everything from country to old-school rock will be on showcase in the beautiful amphitheater right next to
the Burlington County Library.

Host One: That and much much more until August 24th when ‘The Nerds’ close it out on what they hope
to be the last drum hit of summer 2024. There is a lot of talent for you and your family to come out and
enjoy so make sure you give some time for yourself this summer and head out the the Burlington county
