Narrative Report

Interviewing a registered electrical engineer or master electrician in accordance with their scope
of work outlined in Republic Act No. 7920 of The Philippines.

Narrative Report of The Interview:

The interviewers have decided to approach an expert in the field of electrical engineering who
has the widest idea regarding RA No. 7920 . The team decided to interview Engineer Reynaldo
B. Aclo, a registered Electrical Engineer graduated at the University of Science and Technology
finishing with Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology. Engineer Aclo is currently
employed at STEAG state power inc. A power station located in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.
This assures that the information that the interviewers gather from Engineer Aclo is trusted and
credible in relevance to the RA 7920.

In response to questions regarding his work in accordance with RA 7920, Engineer Aclo outlines
his responsibilities:

Predictive Maintenance: Engineer Aclo states that in performing predictive maintenance, it is at


utmost priority to evaluate the electrical equipment within the workplace like motors, circuit
breakers, high voltage equipment, and low voltage equipment. This ensures constant monitoring
of unexpected failures that will affect the performance of such equipment.

Corrective Maintenance: When there are troubles or some malfunctions, Engineer Aclo
performs an immediate corrective measure to fix the issue or to look for other issue that would
stem from that error.

Preventive Maintenance: During shutdowns Engineer Aclo is tasked to perform preventive


maintenance as part of every Electrical Engineer protocol. He is also tasked to replace bearing of
motors, repairs of breakers, and preventive maintenance on high and low voltage equipment

The responsibilities of Engineer Aclo comply with RA 7920, Article IV, Section 31, proving his
adherence to legal requirements and dedication to professional superiority.
