Water cycle

The water cycle is an endless process where water from bodies of water rises to the sky and goes back
down in forms of hail, rain, snow, and sleet.
There are 3 processes in the water cycle.
1. Evaporation
2. Condensation
3. Precipitation

River Sources:

Rain & Melted snow: When rain falls or snow melts, some water flows over the surface forming tiny
streams. Sometimes these streams may join to form a river.

Springs: Some water after rain falls or snow melt soaks into the ground. It passes through permeable
rocks until it reaches impermeable rocks. When the impermeable rock comes to the surface the water
comes out as springs.

Lakes and Glaciers: A few rivers have lakes as their starting point, while others, in high mountains, start
at the edge of melting glaciers.
