 Decide the shape (If coefficient of 𝑥 2 is +𝑣𝑒, the shape will be HAPPY face, If coefficient of 𝑥 2 is −𝑣𝑒, the
shape will SAD face.)
 Try to factorise the quadratic expression, if possible sketch directly using the cutting points of 𝑥-axis.
 If not possible, complete the square in the form, 𝑦 = 𝑘(𝑥 − 𝑎)2 + 𝑏 and sketch using the turning point
