Part I: Summary
The emphasis on publishing and the concentration on research Peer-reviewed journal
circulation is expanding and education responsibilities are still very demanding in many
education. According to research done with faculty from the management faculties of United
States business schools that prioritize research, pressure to publish has an impact on both
tenured and tenure-track faculty in management. This pressure could have multiple
sources from academic staff members, motivated by opportunities of improving their reputation
in the industry, leaving a permanent mark on their career, and growing their pay and
employment flexibility. Despite the fact that It is hardly unexpected that the pressure to publish
affects both tenured and tenure-track faculty members. those on the tenure track experience
greater pressure compared to not yet tenured. A benefit most faculty members with tenure must
juggle teaching, Performing both research and service work while juggling the other two
effectiveness might be challenging. Moreover, submitting work to peer-reviewed journals the
most crucial factor in obtaining tenure and being recognized with merit pay in a variety of
industries, such as management, tourism, and hospitality. As a result of the Professors are
under more pressure to publish than ever before.faced increased stress, saw instruction
marginalized, and produced research that may be lacking in innovation, inventiveness, and
relevance. Despite the fact that many academics and teachers may act in generally ethical ways
and seldom do anything purposefully immoral, it is nevertheless possible that they indulge in
unethical actions in relation to research. Particularly, in considering ethics in the hospitality and
tourist industries is also becoming more important. In order to increase public support, hold
researchers accountable to the public, and support other important social ideals, such as civic
engagement and human rights, animal welfare, health and safety, and legal observance
additionally demonstrated how, notwithstanding the degree of wrongdoing even though the
quality of the research may be fairly low, it influence. In a manual for ethical instruction,
academics outlined how education involves instructing others and training pupils for future
employment in the both industry and education (as well as research) should be carried out
ethically as well. Despite the fact that ethics has been discussed in numerous studies. There
has been little research on the ethical issues in the realm of hospitality and tourism in higher
education generally the conduct of research on hospitality and tourism-related behaviors. It
seems to be necessary to comprehend moral behavior engaged in these fields, paying close
attention to the values, principles, and behaviors of specific experts are vital.

II: Reflections
Overall, the outcomes revealed a negligibly low number of ethical concerns among
graduate students and teachers students. There were remarks regarding the the topic is to
sensitive, and it's intriguing that despite asking respondents to name where are they from or
respondents' home country of study or employment did not provide this information, maybe due
to the complicated features of a study on the topic of ethics in hospitality and education
research discipline of tourism. A lot of the what was mention in the study is also somewhat a
general concern that doesn’t concern just for hospitality and tourism. Like the issue on
authorship, when is the right time for a student to be credited for the authorship likewise witht eh
faculty who collaborated or maybe just comes with authority include there name on the paper
together with the students.. Another issue is the interpretation of data, which at times can be
construe, due to a lot of factor like no proper knowledge to interpret findings. And the last one
would be the resources available for the researchers, most specially time, equivalent load hours
to encourage faculty members to undertake research.

Part III: Relevance/implications to the profession/field of expertise/program

This kind of study is very much related in my field in the academe and in my industry as
well of Hospitality and Tourism. As we geared towards third party accreditation. Research
endeavor is very much important. As educational institution, its major role is to conduct relevant
researches the community/nation would benefit from and base its future plans and projects on
the findings. In our department as we take on the challenge to go for level 2 accreditation, we
are once again face with the dilemma to produce worthwhile research outputs with relevance to
our institution or industry we belong to. Right now with the onset of the pandemic, research
endeavor in our industry of hospitality and tourism have produced researches, since on-the-job
training cannot be on face to face settings one of the modalities that a students can pursue is to
take on research, likewise faculty members who have been displaced of the pandemic, due to
low turn-out of enrollee, deloaded can in turn conduct research and somehow be given incentive
in conducting one. With the technologies and resources in conducting researches ethical issues
such plagiarism is minimize, if not totally eradicated. Institutions have incentivise the conduct of
researches. Issues on authorship have not been a concern as the researches have been
conducted by the real author and co-authorship is with integrity of the mutual understanding of
all those involved in the research.
