Wests Tigers head to Tamworth's Scully Park hoping a change of scene will end a five-match NRL losing run against a Knights team that has won its last two games back-to-back.
Later, the Dragons take on the league's bottom side, South Sydney, before a top of the table clash between the Storm and Sharks in Melbourne.

A brilliant half from Bradman Best is capped by a try.
He has had Brent Naden on toast all half - and he again dismisses him in the way a schoolyard bully would dismiss a child in the playground.
A strong hand, then pushes off Jayden Sullivan too, stunning balance and poise as he darts over.
Tremendous score.
Gagai gets the extras, Best has blood trickling down the side of his face as he watches the ball go over.
Newcastle leads 20-10.

Jackson Hastings has been put on report for a high shot on Jahream Bula.

That will allow the Wests Tigers to get the ball up field and improve their position a bit.

Isaiah Papali'i will not be stopped this time!
Big, strong and powerful enough to get through three tacklers and haul himself over the line.
It was a nice reset to go down the right side after initially switching left.
Jayden Sullivan gave the final pass, but he can't kick the extras.
The Knights lead by four, 14-10.

It's a brilliant break from the Tigers!
Jahream Bula has leaped up to take the ball inside his defensive 10, and then streaked away down the line.
He used Brent Naiden outside him but there was covering defenders who get back to make a crucial tackle.
Enari Tuala though has done incredibly to deny Isaiah Papali'i a try.
Good field position for Wests Tigers though.

Api Koroisau has put in a really good kick deep into the knights in goal area - but there's no chase at all and the Knights take it more than 100 metres back up the field to score.
Greg Marzhew took the ball up, took a few steps inside and then released Bradman Best on the left touchline, where he had so much space.
Country boy David Armstrong was in support and took the easy pass to score easily.
The kick is good from Gagai - the Knights lead 14-6.

The Wests Tigers' deal to play at Scully Park expires after this game.
However, Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson has told ABC Sport that continuing to have an NRL game at the venue is "critical for bush footy".

Very tight and tense game in what are very changeable conditions in Tamworth.
From pouring rain to bright sunshine, the two teams are having it all to deal with at the moment - and it is the Knights who are just about dealing with the conditions slightly better.
They lead two-tries to one, 8-6 thanks to that last minute kick.
The Tigers have had to do a lot of defending in the second portion of that first half, but they'll be happy to be just two points down, especially given they lost a player to the bin for 10 minutes.

Alex's Seyfarth and Twal were in the tackle - and they've left the Knights fight eighth in a heap on the ground.
He eventually takes the play the ball, but looks very sore.

Enari Tuala has dropped the ball on the left edge as the Knights again go to that side.
But really David Armstrong should have gone himself - he had the speed, he had the opportunity but passed instead and the chance goes begging.

Alex Seyfarth and Dane Gagai have got into it with each other.
It was Gagai who grabbed Samuela Fainu initially after the second rower made a tackle to force a goalline drop out for the Knights.
It's all been cleared up though and the referee tells the two captains that he doesn't want to see any more of that.

Great blog Simon. Obvious sin bin for Bula, but how can a player (this time Papali’i) not be at least binned for tripping? Even in the 80s when high tackles and fighting were tolerated, tripping
was a send off. I don’t get it

It's a very dangerous play, it's been in the laws forever that it should be harshly punished.
I'm surprised it isn't a sin bin at least.

He passed to David Armstrong, who offloaded to Greg Marzhew.
Dane Gagai misses the kick from the sideline.

Bradman Best has made a burst off the inside edge and only had Dylan Lucas in support.
He gave the pass with Jahream Bula in hot pursuit, making the tackle.
But then the West Tigers fullback ripped the ball out of Lucas's hands while he was on the ground.
Incredibly, he challenged that decision, which was ludicrous, and he will not only spend 10 minutes in the bin, but he's also burned the Tigers review.

Once upon a time this would have been a send off.
Now, it's just a penalty as Isaiah Papali'i commits one of the most blatant trips you'll ever see outside a judo competition.
He stuck the boot out and Newcastle has a penalty 10 metres out - but opt to tap and go rather than take a shot at goal.
