Hostel facilities: Hostel facilities are provided only for the first academic year of the programme. Continuation of hostel
facility in subsequent years will be as per the Hostel Guidelines. Hostel seats are limited and confirmation of hostel facility will

4. You are required to submit the original mark sheets and certificate of the qualifying examination as per
eligibility criteria stated in the admission booklet and admission kit from a recognized Board/ University.
In case, you have appeared in the qualifying examination but the result is not yet declared, you may be
permitted to submit original documents latest by 31st October 2023. You are required to submit an
undertaking in this regards (Annexure-V).

5. The University reserves its rights to cancel the admission under any of the following circumstances:-

1. If the fees are not deposited by the stipulated date.

If the candidate does not join the particular programme by the stipulated date even though the Fee

6. All fees once paid are not refundable for any reason whatsoever. Kindly see details in the Admission

 Continuation of Merit Scholarship in the 2nd and subsequent semesters

In order to continue availing the Merit Scholarships offered by The Assam Kaziranga University in the subsequent
Semester/Semesters of the programme, any enrolled student in the university, who is also a scholarship holder, needs to
fulfil all the below mentioned terms and conditions:

To continue availing 100% scholarship A student must secure 9.5 SGPA in every semester examination.

To continue availing 70% scholarship A student must secure 9 SGPA in every semester examination.

To continue availing 50% scholarship A student must secure 8.5 SGPA in every semester examination.

To continue availing 30% scholarship A student must secure 8 SGPA in every semester examination.

Additionally, a student needs to meet the below mentioned criteria to continue availing this Merit Scholarship:

1. A student must clear all the papers in each semester and should not carry any backlog in any semester, from
the previous academic year.

2. A student must have at least 80% of attendance in all subjects in each semester from the previous academic
year.

3. The category in which a student is awarded a scholarship cannot be converted to any other category. In case
a student fails to secure the required SGPA for a particular category, he/she will not be eligible for
continuation of scholarship in any other category. For example, if a student availing 100% scholarship does
not secure 9.5 SGPA but secures 9 SGPA, then he/she will be disqualified for 100% scholarship and at the
same time will not be eligible for 70% scholarship or any other Scholarship.

4. A student found guilty of involvement in any untoward incident or exhibiting disruptive or undisciplined
behavior (including ragging) will be disqualified for award of scholarship.

5. In case a student, availing the Merit Scholarship - On Admission, fails to fulfil the condition for continuation
of scholarship in the subsequent year/years, he/she will be required to make complete fee payment for the
subsequent year/years, as prescribed for other students.

6. A student once disqualified or having a break in scholarship will not be eligible for continuing this
scholarship in the future.

7. If any enrolled student availing the Merit Scholarship wants to avail the hostel or transportation facilities,
he/she will have to pay the full hostel/ transportation fees as prescribed for other students.

8. The Assam Kaziranga University Management shall take the final decision of granting/approving this Merit
Scholarship.
