6. Arabic letter stating to transfer this vehicle to Gulf Insurance Group with MD’s sign and stamp
7. MD presence is must at the time of transfer in RTA, if any person who is having POA than it should be written on POA that sales and purchase of vehicles
8. Gulf Insurance Group Trade License which they already provided
9. All fine need to clear first to make transfer, AED 1200/- Fines from Dubai Police and it was already deducted from concerned driver account.
10. Traffic file need to remain open at the time of transfer but at the time it is closed for all type of transections due to court case.
11. AED 520/- need at the time of transfer to make all transfer formalities
Statement
Nizam was driving this car and on date 02.01.2024 he had a road accident in Dubai and as per police report he was in faulty.
For car repair from insurance company, they sent car to insurance garage in Sharjah for its repair but as per report car chassis is damage, so they declared
car as total loss.
On date 18.01.2024 we have received email attached with total loss offer letter of amount AED 5026/- and as per insurance car should first transfer in the
name of M/s Gulf Insurance Group (GULF) B S C Closed Dubai Branch, Trade License NO: 205236 and then they shall provide its total loss cheque.
Insurance company has given us 10 days’ time till date 03.02.2024 to transfer this car otherwise they may handover car to baldeya so we have to bring car
back to ENG parking yard due to a case of traffic file.
Available Action
As EN DXB traffic file is blocked due to court case (Nakheel Case) and for transfer the car file need to open and for transferring formalities MD need to go
physically to RTA. If we can’t transfer vehicle in this time till date 03.02.2024, then we have to bring car back to ENG Parking yard and close the claim and
need to park the car in ENG parking yard and when EN DXB file clears and can sell car in scrap and cancel from RTA.

Please note that this is a recovery claim, and your insurer’s technical team notified the at fault insurer on 12-01-
2024, and as per insurance market practice, they have to wait for the approval from the at fault insurer for 3 days if
it is a minor damage and 7 working days if it is major damage (which is the case).
GIG will update us accordingly.
