DRILL TRAINING DRIBBLING AND SHOOTING

1. Inside-outside dribbling
 First, do inside-outside dribbling exercises through the cones with both feet. Give the ball a
little momentum to pass through a row of cones with the inside instepping from the side
where you started. If you start by passing the ball from the left side of the cone, use your left
foot. Then use the other end of the foot to continue the movement of the ball through the same
row of cones.

 Take one more step with the first foot without touching the ball. Then use the inside of the
previous foot instep to catch the ball. Repeat again through the next row of cones.

2. Shooting
 After doing inside-outside dribbling, push the ball in front of you. To be able to shoot well,
the ball must not be too close to the body. Touch the ball until 1-2 steps in front of you with
the kicker's foot. Push exactly ahead of you to prepare for a regular straight kick. Move
slightly to the side if you want to curve or change the angle of the shot.

 Step a moderate distance towards the ball. The best shots happen when you don't slow down
or change your pace too much when you approach the ball.

 To practice it, start by approaching the ball slowly with regular steps. Increase your speed
when you feel more comfortable.

 Set foot in front of the ball. Set foot as in a regular shot, only this time the ball is rolling. If
your foot is placed right next to the ball, it will roll past your feet. If done perfectly, the ball
will be right next to the foot when kicked.

 Kick the ball as usual. Use the same approach you previously learned to kick the ball. Pull
your feet back, lock your ankles, and follow up on your kicks. Before long, you'll be able to
shoot as you run, just as well as when the ball isn't moving!
