MPEI continues cooperation with the Republic of Armenia

On April 25, 2024 MPEI hold a working meeting with the delegation of the National
Polytechnic University of Armenia consisting of Astghik Sukiasyan, Head of the
Scientific Group on Geoecological Research, and Armen Kirakosyan, Associate
Professor of the Power Engineering and Electromechanics Department.

On MPEI side, the guests were welcomed by Anastasia Mashkova, Director on


Integration Policy Development, and Vladimir Tulsky, Director of the Electrical Power
Engineering Institute.

The parties discussed topical issues of interaction in the field of education, science and
innovations, as well as cooperation within already established partnership relations. The
guests of honor expressed their readiness to implement cooperation with MPEI within
promising projects in the field of electrical power, nuclear and thermal energy, as well as
within participation of MPEI qualified specialists and experts in the international grant
programs of Armenia.

As a result, the parties agreed to continue to form projects aimed at developing


international integration in significant industries.
MPEI continues to develop communications with leading experts of the CIS to achieve
success in ensuring sustainable economic and social development.

The cooperation agreement between MPEI and the National Polytechnic University of
Armenia was signed in June 2023 and implies a number of interaction areas, such as
exchange of experience on professional higher education issues to improve the training
of highly qualified specialists, development of mutually beneficial scientific-technical
cooperation and implementation of various academic mobility programs.
