Justification:
The species is found in four provinces in Luzon Island, in degraded and fragmented habitats. These areas
are not protected and are exposed to human disturbance, i.e., logging, slash-and-burn, and expansion of
settlement areas. The species is over-collected in the wild for local and international trade.

Geographic Range
Range Description:
Endemic to the Philippines, in one island (Luzon). Population on Luzon considered as one population,
but fragmented. Found in low to medium elevations.

Native: Philippines

Flowers white with pale pink profusion. Distinct from P. equestris by its mottled leaves.
