Ever since high school, my only way of studying has always been taking notes on my iPad with my
trusty stylus pen. The model that I had at the time was just the iPad Air 2. Whenever I take notes on
the iPad, there would always be lags and glitches on the screen whenever I were to place my palm on
it as if it was like writing in a book. That irritated me a lot but to make my parent’s money
worthwhile, I took the initiative to pull through my high school years by slanting my hand a bit in a
way in which I wouldn’t place my palm on the iPad but still be able to write. It was a real struggle and
it was very much unnecessary stress I knew that I had enough so I went to tell my father about it.

He understood exactly what I was going through and we found out that it was just that, my iPad at
the time didn’t have “palm-rejection” technology integrated into the software and the only solution
to the issue was to buy the few latest models. Instantly, we decided to get one that could help me
with my studies. So, I got an upgrade to an iPad 9th Generation and as anyone would do, I
downloaded all the apps needed for my studies and went straight to testing it out it was the best
feeling in my life where I experienced immense satisfaction when I relaxed my palm on the screen. I
went on writing with ease and I never stopped the first night I got it.

It has been way easier for me to take notes during classes and after. To some people, this may not be
that much of a big deal and we could always resort to writing notes in physical books, the traditional
way. However, to me personally, this is the only convenient way for me to study and the convenience
of the existence of “palm-rejection” technology helped me with my studies.
