 Purpose
This method of statement is written for the purpose of Establishing method and procedure for the Installation of Power Panel
inside Dining Hall 2.

Location Of Activity
Dining Hall-2, Jizan Aramco Camp

Scope Of Work

In accordance with ARAMCO's consent, Tamimi will install a Power Panel inside Dining Hall-1 for new machines. For this
purpose, we have to bring the following changes in the existing system:

 There is a Distribution Panel J96 DP-08 outside Dining Hall 2.

 A cable will be pulled from J96 DP-83 CKT F3 (spare 100 Amps) up to New Power Panel inside Mess Hall-2.
 Main Cable will be 50 mm with 25 mm grounding wire.
 This job requires excavation and concrete cutting.
 1-hour Shutdown required for Cable Termination. (10Pm to 11Pm)

Material Used:
 100 Amps Al-Fanar Power Panel (PP).
 4C*50 mm CU/XLPE/PVC Main Cable.
 1C*25 mm CU/PVC Earthling Cable.
 PVC Conduits.

Equipment and Tools:

 Asphalt Cutter.
 Shovel.
 Clamp Meter.
 Cable Cutter.
 Hock saw.
 Crimping Tool.
 Screw Driver Set.
 Spanner Set and Ratchet Set
 Measuring Tape.

Steps Of Installation:
To carryout activity for the installation of Power Panel, below mentioned procedure is recommended to ffollow-up step
by step in sequential manner.

 Install the Power Panel Inside Dining Hall and make sure that the front area enough space when open the door do
not touch to other.
 Excavate the cable route.
 Lay the 50 mm cable by putting inside the PVC conduit.
 Inform fire alarm team.
 Pull the Cable inside the main DP.
 During cable pulling inside the DP, turned off incomer breaker and put the LOTO.
 Transformer close point will be open for 1 hour.
 Remove the cable bedding insulation and Start Cable Termination inside the main DP and PP inside the Mess Hall-
1.
 Care is taken that the cores are not crossing each other.
 Core insulation is removed according to the size of lug.
 Crimp the lugs with the crimping tool.
 Proper size of nuts and bolts are to be used for fixing the lugs to the terminals of breaker.
 After finishing cable termination, remove the LOTO
 Close the open point from transformer and turn on the incomer’s breaker
 Check the required voltage and current at PP’s Main Breaker (MCB).
 Complete the Backfilling work and repair footpath.
 Clean the Area.
