Project Director:
 It is the overall responsibility of Project Director to organize resources to perform
construction activities as per project specifications in compliance with quality,
schedule, and safety requirements.

5.3 Construction Manager:

 It is the responsibility of CM that construction activities are being executed
according to the relevant project specifications, in compliance with quality, schedule
and safety requirements.

5.4 Architect Engineer/Site Engineer

 Architect Engineer/Site Engineer shall monitor all the architectural activities in
accordance with project specifications, Approved shop drawings, IFC drawings by
following the safe conditions under the contractor’s site safety plan.

5.5 QA/QC Engineer

 QA/QC Engineer shall make sure the work is executed as per project requirements
and carry out all field inspections under project specification 01400 related to the
quality control services and the requirement of project specification, and approved
method statement.
 Ensure the material has been approved by consultant prior to use at site.
 Work should be carried out as per latest revision of drawings.
 Monitor the quality of works and in conformance with the IFC drawing as per
approved checklist.
 Ensure the implementation of the ITP with associate checklist as per sequence of
work activities.
 Ensure all inspections and testing activities has been completed and keep record.
5.6 Safety Inspector

 The HSE officer will monitor and implement all HSE related issues. He shall ensure that
all necessary requirements regarding health, safety and environment concern are met.
 To ensure that all construction activities would be carried out under approved HSE
Plan.
 Make sure that all workers have proper PPEs.
 Confirm and make sure that proper certifications and inspections of equipment are
updated prior to start the work.
 He will make sure the provision of safety arrangements for work area and will carry
out the required inspections.

 Makes sure the presence of work permit and list of involved personal at site.
 He shall ensure placement of all signals, signs and barricades until work
completion.
 Produce the Job Risk Assessment prior to work commencement and will identify the
hazards (if any) before start of all construction activities.

7: PROCEDURE AND METHODOLOGY:

7.2 EXECUTION
7.2.1. EXAMINATION

 Work will be carried roof.

 The crew will be fully protected and they will anchor their harness to the
horizontal lifeline provided.
 Full time supervisor will be available to monitor the safe execution of work.
 Wind speed will be monitored regularly and in case there will be high wind speed
or adverse weather condition, work will be stopped until the condition is normal..
 After execution, good housekeeping will be ensured.

7.2.2. PREPARATION
 Installation of scaffolding Tower for lifeline anchor.
 Fixing of lifeline
 Exclusion zone provide on the ground floor with watcher.
 Start removal of barricading.

 either by damaged or opened overlap areas

 Surface preparation shall be done for EPDM and should take 48 hrs for
damp free surface and shall be 100% dry.
8. HEALTH & SAFETY:
 The entire works will be carried out as per guidelines established in the project
specification HSE plan and KAFD Health and Safety Minimum Standards.
 Work permit will be arranged prior to start the removal of barrication.
 Material or equipment should be maintained in an orderly manner and labelled in
accordance with statutory requirements and use in safe manner.
 All efforts shall be made to keep the Environment clean.
 All personnel involved will use necessary PPE as required such as safety helmet,
glasses, shoes, gloves, ear plugs, dust mask etc.
 The workers will be made aware of HSE requirements related to this activity through daily
toolbox and HSE talk.
 Engineer (HSE) will inspect all equipment prior to use.
 If the installation works is at night-time, arrange sufficient lights for good visibility.
 First Aid Kit is installed in ground floor and every each second level.
 Contact with Emergency Response Team in case of abnormal event.
