identifying several effects on the given cause.
Let us start the fun and learning now.
Cause and Effect
Sentences may be developed using cause-and-effect relationship. This sentence development
shows clear relationship between ideas showing the cause why a certain thing happens and an
effect of the identified cause.
What is Cause and Effect?
Cause- The information that tells the reason why something happens or why something has to be
done.
Effect- The information that tells result or the effect of the cause.

Examples of Cause and Effect:
1. Effect: Miya missed her flight.
Cause: Because she did not arrive on time
2. Cause: When a sick person sneezes,
Effect: he/she blows the virus into the air.

Let us read the sentences, then put in a box the cause and circle the effect in each item.
1. Zilong was promoted. He did his best to satisfy the company’s demands.
