1- Population Size: The global population has been steadily increasing for
decades. As f my last knowledge update in January 2022, the global
population was over 7.8 billion people. More people require more energy for
their daily needs, including heating, cooling, transportation, and electricity.

2- All humans living on Earth today primarily obtain their energy from food
through the process of respiration, specifically cellular respiration, which
converts the chemical energy in food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the
energy currency of cells. This process allows our bodies to fuel various
activities and functions. However, it's important to note that even though
food is the primary source of energy for humans, we also utilize other energy
sources in our daily lives. These additional energy sources include:
Electricity, Fossil Fuels, Renewable, Wood and Biomass, Nuclear energy.
While food is the primary energy source for human metabolism, the modern
way of life is heavily dependent on various other energy sources to meet the
demands of transportation, electricity, and industrial processes. Nevertheless,
there are certainly people, particularly in remote or less industrialized areas,
who rely more heavily on food as their primary energy source, but they
would likely still use some level of additional energy sources, even if it's
minimal.

3- The sustainability of food production for humans is a complex and

multifaceted issue that depends on various factors, including agricultural
practices, environmental considerations, population growth, and dietary
choices. In general, the sustainability of food production is a significant
concern due to several challenges: Environmental Impact, Resource
Intensity, Climate change.

4- Humans use food as their main source of energy but there are other sources
as well like: Oxygen and light from the sun.

5- The source of energy in the picture of the person exercising is ATP, Oxygen
and it is getting converted to energy so he can move his legs on the rowing
machine. The source of energy in the picture of the man commuting to work
in the car is sunlight.
6- There are many ways individuals can contribute to making human energy
use more sustainable in their everyday lives. Here are some practical steps
you can take to reduce your environmental impact and promote
sustainability: Reduce Energy Consumption, Use Renewable Energy,
Reduce Water Usage.
