Mogalvin is the brand name of the hot-dipped galvanized steel

produced by UNICOIL. The cold-rolled steel strip is coated with zinc
using a controlled and continuous hot-dipping process that results in
a tight metallurgical bond between the steel and the coating. The
mass of the zinc coating ranges from 60 gsm to 350 gsm.

Grades
Commercial Steel : CS Type A,B, C

Forming Steel: FS Type A & B

Structural Steel: (SS33, SS37, SS40, SS50 class 1, 2, 3 & 4 and SS80)

General Description
MOGALVIN is continuously coated on both sides with a zinc coating.
The hot dip process, pioneered by UNICOIL, provides a tight Specification No. Description
metallurgical bond between the steel and the coating. This process
ASTM A653 Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
results in a material with the strength and formability of steel plus the
corrosion protection of zinc. Zinc protects the base metal by providing ASTM A924 General Requirement & Tolerances
a barrier to corrosive elements and also by the sacrificial nature of the
coating. Available with special surface finishes, tailored for specific EN 10346 Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
applications, and in variety of base metal grades and coating weights.
Widely used in many applications in the construction, HVAC, JIS G 3302 Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
Appliance, Automotive and other industries.
