Students should have studied English LL in a previous programme

Specific term goals:

1. gain an understanding and knowledge of the LL course and syllabus


2. engage with a range of texts, in a variety of media and forms, from different periods, styles, and cultures
3. develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, presenting and performing
4. develop skills in interpretation, analysis and evaluation
5. develop sensitivity to the formal and aesthetic qualities of texts and an appreciation of how they contribute to diverse responses
and open up multiple meanings

NEEV ACADEMY - DP TERM OUTLINE
There will be four in-class assessments based on the two main assessment components (paper 1 and the IO). There will be an end-of-term
examination that will consist of one assessment component: paper 1

The term grade will be calculated on the basis of four continuous assessments and one term exam in the following proportion:
