This anecdotal reference helps the audience and all Americans to relive and
remember the milestone achievements and landmarks of American history in
an endeavour to rtaise feelings of pride and patriotism in the progress of the
nation. Obama's election as the new President acts almost like a culmination
of this series of glorious incidents in the timeline of AMERICA. Additionally,
the fact that Ann Nixon, the living representation of the heritage of America
voted for Obama adds to his credibility. It makes the audience nod in approval
of him and trust in his ability to rule the nation.
