Sustainability Policy and Procedures

Policy

Blue Healer Resort is committed to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability through
responsible management practices. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, volunteers, and other
stakeholders who contribute to the resort's operations.

Compliance with legislation

Blue Healer Resort complies with all relevant legislation related to environmental sustainability, including but
not limited to the Environmental Protection Act, the Climate Change Act, and any other applicable local,
state, or federal regulations.

Roles and responsibilities


The Sustainability Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the resort's
sustainability initiatives. The Sustainability Manager will also ensure that all employees and stakeholders are
aware of their responsibilities and obligations with respect to sustainability.

All employees, contractors, volunteers, and other stakeholders must ensure that they:

 Follow all sustainability policies and procedures;


 Use resources responsibly and reduce waste wherever possible;
 Report any environmental incidents or concerns to the Sustainability Manager;
 Participate in sustainability training and awareness programs;
 Promote sustainability in their work and encourage others to do the same.

Procedures

Energy and Water Conservation

Blue Healer Resort will actively seek to reduce energy and water consumption and promote conservation
efforts.

Energy-efficient lighting and appliances will be installed where possible.

Water-saving measures, such as low-flow toilets and taps, will be implemented.

Employees will be encouraged to turn off lights and equipment when not in use.

Where possible, renewable energy sources will be used to reduce reliance on non-renewable sources.

Waste Reduction and Recycling

Blue Healer Resort will actively seek to reduce waste and promote recycling efforts.

wherever possible.

Products with minimal packaging and made from recycled or sustainable materials will be preferred.

Blue Healer Resort will engage with the local community and promote sustainability efforts.

Community members will be invited to participate in resort sustainability programs and initiatives.

Educational programs will be developed to raise awareness about sustainability and promote responsible
environmental practices.
