ABSTRACT

"A complete report on an organized Automation lab PSG College of Engineering for the students
of Manufacturing Engineering [2nd Sem] to gain practical knowledge about Pneumatic,
Hydraulic, electric exploring various machinery and automation processes. The center boasts
advanced facilities in its Automation lab, with experienced manpower capable of meeting
production challenges on time. Automation lab works closely with experienced faculty to
explore various in the automation processes (hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC), it serves as a foundation. We
implement automation processes in the industry, where unfortunately many people have lost their lives in
fire accidents. Relying solely on manual operation is not ideal. To address this issue, I developed an
automation concept. In the event of a fire accident, sensors will detect it, triggering a 10-second alarm,
and the doors will automatically open. This automation aims to mitigate accidents caused by wiring faults
and gas leaks.
