Interpretation
Routine transthoracic echocardiogram was performed. Fully diagnostic study.
Aortic valve : Minimal AR. Left
Atrium : The left atrium is normal. LA diameter: 3.09 cm.
Right Atrium : The right atrium is normal.
Mitral valve : The mitral valve is normal. Planimetry : 5.03 cm2.
Right Ventricle: The right ventricle is normal in size and normal function. TAPSE : 2.29 cm.
Tricuspid valve : The tricuspid valve is normal and trileaflet.
Pulmonary Valve: The pulmonary valve is normal
Pulmonary Artery : The pulmonary artery is normal.
Atrial Septum : Normal
Left Ventricle : The left ventricle is normal in size with normal systolic function. The ejection fraction is 53 % . There is
no regional wall-motion abnormality. A>E , E velocity 52 , E prime 6. Grade I diastolic dysfunction.

Walls Chamber Systolic Function

IVSD : 0.73 cm LVIDd: 4.35 cm


FS: 27 %

IVSS : 0.88 cm LVIDs: 3.17 cm EF : 53 %

PWD: 1.26 cm

PWS : 1.37 cm

Pericardium : The pericardium is normal.


Aorta : Aortic root dimension is 2.32 cm.
Vena Cava : The inferior vena cava is normal. There is greater than 50 % inspiratory collapse of the IVC.

Impression Normal LV systolic function


Grade I diastolic dysfunction.
Minimal AR
No RWMA
No pericardial effusion. .
